Deluxe Release[]

In 1994 Bandai Japan released the DX Ninja Gattai Muteki Shogun as part of the Kakuranger (Toyline) it comes with all 5 Giant Beast Generals, accurate paint, stickers, flaming shogun sword, and the induvial weapons for the Giant Beast Generals. In 1995 this toy re-released in America & internationally as the Deluxe Shogun Megazord. Due to the use the Zyuranger suits the Giant Beast Generals were altered the shades of blue & yellow on Blue Logan/Blue Shogun Zord & Yellow Kumard/Yellow Shogun Zord were changed to match the suits of Billy Cranston & Aisha Campbell, White Lark/White Shogun Zord was changed to Pink because of Kimberly Ann Hart/Katherine Hillard as the Pink Shogunzord, the Japanese kanji symbol on Red Saruder/Red Shogun Zord was changed to a lightning bolt, the Sarauder Slicer was turned into a round shield, & the Shogun Megazord Fire Saber was changed from chrome to gold flexible plastic. Also on both releases the right side of the Flaming Shogun Sword/Shogun Megazord Fire Saber's hilt is hollow. This release was also used in original footage while combining with the Titanus toy to make the Shogun Ultrazord in the series.

Super Mini Pla Shogun Megazord[]

This was also released in Japan as the Super Mini Pla Muteki Shogun. This release improves over the original Deluxe releases it comes fully loaded with show accurate decals with the option to paint the parts, the correct paint job for all the individual zords, comes with the individual weapons which are unpainted & the fire saber, each individual Shogunzord & the Megazord once combined resembles the suits used in the show, each zord individually & in Shogun Megazord form are fully articulated, can combine with the Super Mini Pla Falconzord which is sold with the Super Mini Pla Ninja Megazord to form the Shogun Mega Falconzord, & is compatible with the Super Mini Pla Titanus to form the Shogun Ultrazord. Like the original Deluxe releases the individual weapons can combine with each other for the Megazord to hold.

Puradera/Special Size Megazords[]

The Puradera Muteki Shogun & Super Muteki Shogun were designed to look like smaller DX mechas. The parts do not transform, but can combine with Tsubasamaru. The Puradera Muteki Shogun can launch it's fists like missiles, it comes with the helmet, & lights and sounds, while the Puradera Super Muteki Shogun comes with a smaller version of Tsubasamaru. Both releases come with the Flaming Shogun Sword & Saruder Slicer that's used as a shield. Both of these toys were never released outside of Japan as the Super Muteki Shogun Puradera toy almost was released as the Special Size Shogun Mega Falconzord before it was cancelled.
