Shockatron is a cyborg devil-themed electric demon who is the main antagonist of the episode "A Face from the Past".

History

Shockatron was sent by Loki and Vypra to attack the power plant. Shockatron attacked one of Mariner Bay's power plants, trapping a teacher with many children within.

He was about go to another plant, but gets stopped by the Lightspeed Rangers. After they saved the children, he summons the Batlings, but they were all easily defeated. He then took on the Rangers himself and had the upper hand at first, but the Rangers equipped themselves with the V-Lancers. Shockatron was no match and is defeated.

He is then revived as a giant thanks to Jinxer, but is destroyed by the Lightspeed Megazord. He was then banished to the Shadow World. TV STORY-A Face from the Past

Shackatron is seen among the deceased demons that the Rangers fought when they were trapped in the Shadow World by Olympius. TV STORY-Sorcerer of the Sands (episode)

Shockatron was also one of the demons absorbed by Olympius to obtain a more powerful form. TV STORY-Olympius Unbound

Shockatron's final appearance is in the final episode of the season. He was seen among the demons in the Shadow World when Queen Bansheera opened a gateway to Shadow World. TV STORY-The Fate of Lightspeed

Personality

Shockatron was a ruthless monster that loves to wreck havoc on the city. He is also arrogant, thinking that the Rangers can't stop him, but he is very loyal to Loki and Vypra.

• Superhuman Strength: Shockatron was strong enough to send Rangers flying with a single hit each.
• Batling Summoning: Shockatron can summon an army of Batlings to aid him in battle.
• Extraordinary Leaper: Shockatron can leap at far distances.
• Flight: Shockatron can fly at high speed thanks to the wings behind his back.

• Fists: While lacking a handheld weapon, Shockatron can fight with his bare fists.
  • Cable Cords: Shockatron can release cords from his hands that can cause an overload in a computer and make it explode.

• Shockatron is voiced by Herbie Baez, best known as Roland Williams - the Green Hunter Beetleborg/Titanium Silver Beetleborg in the Saban series Big Bad Beetleborgs.

• Shockatron is the first electric themed monster in the Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.
• Shockatron shares the same name with Shockatron from Beast Morphers.
• Back in early 2003, shortly after the series changed hands from Saban Entertainment to Disney, some of the monster costumes, including Shockatron, were auctioned off by ABC Auctions. It sold for $710 and it made a cameo among its new owner's toy collection on the 8th season 1 episode of Toy Hunter along with Bloom of Doom, Calcifier, Hatchasaurus, & Wolfbane.
