Shiokara (シオカラ) is the personal servant of Yanma Gast in the country of Nkosopa.
History[]
Background[]
Sometime before the beginning of the series, Shiokara was a cold-blooded criminal who attacked Yanma after Yanma invented a device that could spot counterfeit money that Shiokara and his gang had created. At this time, Shiokara had no faith in the future of Nkosopa, believing the kingdom was done for. Meeting Yanma eventually led Shiokara to turn his life around; growing to admire Yanma's personality, he stood by Yanma's side as the latter eventually rose to rebuild Nkosopa and become its king.

Pre-timeskip[]
Shiokara served Yanma as his top servant and came to motivate Yanma when Desnaraku threatened the world with his cacoons TV STORY-Ep. 10: The Fabled Guardian Deity Sometime after Jeramie's debut, he tries to talk Yanma out of a prank on Rcules but fails and runs into Geroujim, who pretends to be Shiokara. TV STORY-Ep. 13: Angry Spider During the constant N'Kosopa attacks, Shiokara grabs Gira and tells him that Yanma is buying them time to escape and that once everyone is gone Yanma can escape but Gira questions if the president would ever run. Yanma is then handed to Shiokara by Gira after the prince makes himself known to the world. TV STORY-Ep. 17: The King Does Not Flee He is later chosen by the Shugods as one of the champions to pilot God King-Ohger. TV STORY-Ep. 25: War of The Kings and The People He along with the other retainers commit suicide to reach their rulers in Hakabaka but Shiokara fails to keep the exit upon for Yanma. Post-timeskip[]
Shiokara temporarily filling in for Yanma's duties.
Shiokara was forced into kingship after Yanma's arrest, however this was fairly short lived, as the King-Ohgers broke out of Gokkan's prison quickly. TV STORY-Ep. 27: Arrival of The Uchu King He is still as loyal as ever, but sometimes now defies Yanma's orders, if it means saving his life, becoming more of a free thinker to help the one he cares about most.
After becoming brainwashed by Hilbil, he strikes down Rita and the diplomatic relations of Chikyu are thrown out of whack and he was locked up until Jeramie took the blame for the attack. TV STORY-Ep. 29: Disqualified as King During the first attempt to free N'Kosopa, Shiokara is brainwashed Leech again. She ordered Shiokara to destroy the main computer, but Shiokara resisted, refusing to punch Yanma and nearly sacrifices himself to avoid doing so but was saved when Yanma destroyed the computer himself. TV STORY-Ep. 35: Don't Cry, Slack-Jawed Tanuki He later helps Yana steal an ultra-computer TV STORY-Ep. 38: Steadfast Idol Debut and helps the King-Ohgers achieve their Flashing Fangs. He later helps with the evacuation of Chikyu when Glodi enacts the Wrath of God again TV STORY-Ep. 47: Silence God and helps in the final battle against Dagded. TV STORY-Final Ep.: We Will Rule the World
Personality[]
Shiokara is a very kind, polite person, to the point he and Yanma can be seen as polar opposites. Shiokara will often apologize on Yanma's behalf, trying to act as a mediator between Yanma and whoever he's offended with his rudeness. Despite this, Shiokara still greatly respects Yanma to the point of idolizing him, to the point that Shiokara is ready to risk his life to prevent the destruction of Yanma's Top Computer, despite at that time, he's under Hilbill brainwashing.

He initially hated Yanma due to his latest device being able to point out counterfeit money but after being touched by Yanma's words, he decided to follow Yanma ever since. From time to time, he would annoy the president, and the president tends not to listen Shiokara's warnings, but they have a deep respect for one another and are willing to sacrifice everything for each other.
