Shinobi Final Chapter: To a Future Without Hiding, Wasshoi! ( 忍ばず未来へワッショイ! Shinobazu Mirai e, Wasshoi!) is the forty-seventh and final episode of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. It is the conclusion of the four-part endgame.
Synopsis[]
Kyuemon Shingetsu Kibaoni has activated the End Shuriken and intends to end this world and create a new one ruled by the Kibaoni Household. The Ninningers face the Kibaoni Army Corps to prevent this. Only the Kibaoni father and son remain. However, the ninjas have their power stolen and cannot transform. But, they won’t back down. They will increase their Nintality. The Ninningers will fight Gengetsu Kibaoni and Shingetsu for the last time.
Plot[]
With the End Shuriken having created a world ruled by Yokai, the Ninningers have been forced out of transformation, with Takaharu in particular struggling against Kyueyemon Shingestu Kibaoni. Eventually, however, the others are able to join him, with Kyuemon questioning whether that will make a difference. Takaharu explains that it will, because as long as the six of them are together their Nintality has no end. Sure enough, the six are able to transform once again and overpower Kyuemon, much to his surprise and anger. After the battle, Takaharu speculates that Kyuemon unknowingly looked up to Yoshitaka the entire time. Kinji adds that this is something him and Kyuemon had in common - they were both wanderers who found comfort and a family with Yoshitaka and the Igasaki clan. As proof of that, the final untransformed shuriken that Yoshitaka gave Kyuemon turns into a green blank shuriken, ripe for transformation - a sign to the Ninningers that even in death, Yoshitaka hoped that Kyuemon may one day fight alongside his grandchildren.
However, they are interrupted by Gengetsu, who absorbs Kyuemon and turns giant. The Ninningers use Gekiatsu Dai-oh to confront Gengetsu for the final fight, which initially is heavily in his favor. When Gengetsu tells them to regret this life ad a ninja and hope that they are not reborn into a ninja family, they respond that they would not regret it; no matter their lineage, they would always have become ninjas to fight Gengetsu. Kyuemon rebels against Gengetsu inside his body, giving them the opportunity to finish him off with Gekiatsu Dai Fever. Kyuemon is returned to his original body and granted a few flashes of happier memories training with Yoshitaka and Tsumuji before disappearing.
The Ninningers untransform and look at the city below, still covered in Yokai darkness and destruction. Suddenly the End Shuriken appears in front of them, with Yakumo explaining that this means the six of them now share the title of last ninja. Fuka proposes using it to wish for a world without darkness. Takaharu, however, believes that there will be darkness as long as the End Shuriken exists and convinces the others to wish for a world without it - even if that means the end of the Last Ninja legacy. They agree and spin the shuriken together, restoring the city before the shuriken disappears for good. Takaharu then surprises the others by announcing that he will now create a new legacy as the New Last Ninja. They soon take to the idea, however, with Kasumi, Fuka, Nagi, and Kinji proclaiming themselves the Last Science, Idol, Support, and Worldwide Ninjas respectively before dubbing Yakumo the Last Magic Ninja (over his objections). Before leading the team in one final victory pose, Takaharu looks at the blank green shuriken, wishing that Kyuemon can become a good ninja when he's reborn.
Excited to start his journey as the New Last Ninja, Takaharu tries to leave quietly without saying goodbye but is caught by Kinji. Hoowever, it's soon revealed that he, Yakumo, and Kasumi had the same idea, much to Fuka and Tsumuji's chagrin. Kasumi realizes why Fuka, as one of only two Ninningers staying (the other being Nagi), is upset; after a year of being together, it was hard to see everyone go their separate ways. Yakumo reassures the others that because they are family, this is hardly goodbye. Tsumuji therefore proposes that everyone meets at the dojo in two years to compare progress. Everyone agrees and begins playing Rock Paper Scissors to determine who'll leave first.
The ending sequence cuts to some time later. Yakumo is an instructor at his magic academy in England, still experimenting with his combination of ninjutsu and magic - accidentally spawning a dinosaur instead of a dragon. Fuka is trying to make her officially make her idol/acting debut, using her ninjutsu at an audtion; though she hurts herself clumsily, she remains graceful. Nagi continues to study but is willing to help others when needed, such as when the school soccer team is one man short. Kinji is using his ninjutsu skills to sell oden from Yoshitaka's old cart in Europe. Kasumi is running experiments on the shurikens in her lab with her colleagues, starting with her own Momoninger shuriken. Finally, in an nondescript field, Takaharu has taken on four young kids as his first students, all of them dressed in black and red ninja training outfits that match his own.
