Shigeru is the son of the chief of the local police department, who went missing when investigating a possible Yokai in the department. He realized that the whole department was Yokai, and warned the Kakurangers. He later let Sasuke know that the rest of his team had been captured in a failed attempt to save Seikai, who had been arrested on trumped up charges, and helped in the rescue of them, and his father.
