Shield Shellga (シールドシェルガ, Shīrudo Sheruga) is a shield-themed Shellga Type Jamen Beast of the Dark Empire Yodonheim, being one of the three released from the invasion gate created from the dark energy gathered by Nazokake Jamen.

Personality

Like all Jamen Beasts, Shield Shellga does not talk though it mostly grunts and roars. It also has a habit of laughing constantly (which is unusual for a Jamen Beast).

Powers and Abilities

• Durability: Shield Shellga is highly durable with its natural shell and additional protection from its Jamen.
• Laser Vision: Shield Shellga can project powerful red laser beams from its Jamen's eyes.
• Triple Attack: When Tank Ligany, Sengoku Basra, and Shield Shellga work together, they can perform a triple attack which involves running in a train-like formation. The attack has Shield Shellga deflect the attacks of the opponents before Tank Ligany and Sengoku Basra deliver crippling blows.

Weakness

• Slashes: Since it's treated as a wood, a slice from King Express Zabyun can penetrate its defense.

• Shield Shellga is:
  • The first shield-themed monster since TateZord and (technically) Kentateloid from Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
  • The first Shellga-Type Jamen Beast to be summoned with help from a Gold Body-Type Jamenshi.
    • Due to this, the Shellga-type is also the first Jamen/Dark Beast class to be summoned by all four of the main Jamenshi body types
  • The fourth Jamen Beast to appear in more than one episode (along with Tank Ligany and Sengoku Basra).
  • The fourth weapon themed Jamen Beast in Kiramager.
• Due to the design of its Jamen, Shield Shellga draws some similarities to Wangawanga from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.
