This article is about a Ranger in Power Rangers Ninja Storm. |

- ―Shane after he morphs[src]
Shane Clarke is the Red Wind Ranger, leader of the Ninja Storm Rangers.
History[]
Ninja Storm[]
Shane was a student at the Wind Ninja Academy along with his best friends Tori Hanson and Dustin Brooks, he is also known for his skateboarding skills.
After Lothor attacked the academy, Sensei Kanoi Watanabe chose Shane to be the Red Wind Ranger. TV STORY-Prelude to a Storm
It was soon revealed that Shane is scared of spiders. TV STORY-Beauty and the Beach
When he was a young boy, Shane saved an alien woman from a bounty hunter name Vexacus, and that alien later returned and gave Shane the power of the Battlizer armor. TV STORY-Shane's Karma
When the Bradley brothers, Hunter and Blake, show up in town, Shane stresses the importance of knowing who to trust to Dustin as Shane is the only one to suspect that the brothers aren't who they say they are. TV STORY-Thunder Strangers
Shane doesn't come to trust Hunter or Blake until the incident with Toxipod. During that time, Shane is aggravated with the fact that Hunter and Blake always seem to have ill intentions when their groups meet in battle. When the fact that both Blake and Hunter have been brainwashed by Choobo is revealed to him and his friends, Shane slowly comes to trust Blake and Hunter when they are brought back to their senses. TV STORY-Return of Thunder
Hunter and Shane's differences and natural born leaderships cause them to develop a rivalry, but they eventually overcome their differences and become friends. TV STORY-Boxing Bopp-a-Roo
Thanks to his ninja training, Shane possesses several superpowers independent of and prior to the acquisition of his Ranger skills. Like his fellow ninja, Shane possesses superhuman speed and can move faster than the eye can see, leap higher than an average person, evade detection by normal persons, and focus his inner energies to resist mental attacks and manipulation. Shane's ninja powers give him the ability to control the element of air for effects including projecting gusts of wind as an offensive weapon, and "walking" on air as if on solid ground.
Shane's older brother, Porter, who was a successful businessman, was concerned about Shane's seeming lack of a sense of responsibility, and paid him a visit, lecturing his younger brother on the matter. After accidentally discovering that Shane was the Red Ranger, however, Porter gained significant respect for Shane, realizing the measure of responsibility that his younger brother had taken upon himself. This encounter is important in Power Ranger history, for it shows that not only is the existence of Power Rangers known to the world at large, but that people are also aware of specifics regarding them; Porter was especially proud of the fact that not only was Shane a Power Ranger, but that he was the Red Ranger, acknowledging the fact that Red Rangers are traditionally the leaders of Power Ranger teams. This, while most likely not intentional or referenced, probably stemmed from the Space Rangers' revelation of their identities to the world way back in Power Rangers in Space. Lothor's Return[]
After almost a year, when Lothor finally manages to escape the Abyss of Evil. Meanwhile, after beating their students, Tori, Shane, and Dustin find a message from "Sensei" telling them where to meet him.
The Ninjas meet with Sensei to discover that Lothor has returned. When he gives them new Wind Morphers, they are put under an evil spell. Shane becomes evil alongside his teammates. It turns out to be Lothor who has captured Sensei and now plans to use the Wind Rangers for his evil plan.
When Lothor shows up with some new friends he made in the Abyss to once again take on the Wind Ninja Academy, Dustin, Shane, and Tori morph into the Wind Rangers after so much time and begin attacking the Wind Ninja Academy.
The Wind Ninjas don't stand a chance against the Wind Power Rangers. As a result Lothor bottles up the Wind Ninja Students and leaves the destroyed Ninja Academy.
Later, the Wind Rangers and Lothor's forces attack Reefside. Conner, Ethan, and Kira are challenged by the Wind Rangers, each Wind Ranger fight with each Dino Ranger, and Shane fights against Conner. He easily defeats Conner using his Ninja Sword and Lothor's forces. With the help of Lothor's forces, the Wind Rangers defeat the Dino Rangers, forcing them to retreat, while Cam, Hunter, and Blake watch the fight from above. They watch as the Wind Rangers beat the Dino Rangers, this also causes Mesogog to be intricate by these Evil Rangers.

Teaming up with the Dino Ranger[]
When Ethan investigates the Power Rangers Database from his laptop, he sees that the Wind Rangers defeated 100 of Lothor's army of monsters. At the same time, Conner affirms that he only can defeat the Wind Rangers. Unfortunately, the Wind Rangers arrived at Hayley's Cyberspace, after Shane scared everyone except the Dino Rangers away with his wind attack. The two teams come face to face with their respective color, Shane with a serious expression face to face with Conner, Conner insists they meet somewhere else. Shane suggests the Harbor Bridge, and the Wind Rangers leave Hayley's Cyberspace with a Ninja streak.
At the Harbor Bridge, the Wind Rangers show up and give a wind attack to the Dino Rangers, starting and during the battle, Shane fights against Conner taking too much advantage in the fight, as Conner (and the other Dino Rangers) was holding back, also they were willing to morph only if the Wind Rangers morphed. Shane continues fighting against Conner. During the fight, Conner was giving a fight to Shane. However, when Conner uses his T-Rex Speed to dodge his blows, Shane uses his Ninja agility to appear on the bridge surprising his opponent. Continuing the fight, Shane attacks Conner with a wind attack but, Conner not only tolerates the attack, but appears on the bridge starting a brief fight. In that Shane made Conner lose the balance, but Conner survived the fall by using T-Rex speed.
When Shane and his teammates were about to morph into their Ranger forms, Hunter, Cam, and Blake join their comrades against the Dino team in battle, cheating that they also joined Lothor's Army. But they trick them into taking the right Power Discs, which reverses Lothor's spell, Shane and his teammates return back to the good side.
Back at the Dino Lab, Shane and the other Rangers listening on how Hunter, Blake, and Cam explain that Sensei came to their rescue just in time. All the Rangers are ready to take down Lothor. Tommy and Sensei remind them that this won't be easy and they will have to try their best.
The Dino Lab's screen shows Lothor and Mesogog's army, deducting that Lothor forms an alliance with Mesogog, all the Rangers going to the battlefield.
The Ninja Rangers and Dino Rangers morph into their Ranger forms and prepare for the battle. Shane with his teammates and the three main Dino Rangers riding their motorcycles attacking Lothor and Mesogog's forces. Later, Shane and Conner in his Super Dino Mode, leave their motorcycles and attack the two ancient warriors Izzy and Pupperazi, using their swords. However, the two Red Rangers are attacked by Izzy's ancient warrior's blaster, both dodged the attack, and Shane is attacked by Pupperazi, but Conner goes to help him turned into Triassic Ranger and attacked the two ancient warriors. Shane and Conner destroy Izzy and Pupperazi with their respected Battlizers using their respected finisher attacks.
The Rangers are celebrating their victory when Marah and Kapri show up on the scene to release the captured Ninja students. All the Power Rangers gather together and celebrate their victory over Lothor.
Afterwards, the Wind Rangers lose their powers, leaving things to the next generation. All the Rangers gather together to watch Blake win his race and the trophy. TV STORY-Thunder Storm Part 2
