The Sentai Rings (センタイリング Sentai Ringu) are the collectible item of the Gozyugers and Universe Warriors. They are also known as the Universe Rings (ユニバースリング Yunibāsu Ringu) when referring to the Sentai Rings based on the previous 49 Sentais prior to the Gozyugers.
Overview[]
Sentai Rings[]
The Sentai Rings are fragments of power that was held by Giant God TegaSword as well as the previous Super Sentai teams during the climax of the Universe War, where the Sentai Robos infused the last of their power to TegaSword to banish the evil that was The Calamity. The Sentai Rings were then scattered, with each Ring choosing its wielder. Once a Ring has chosen its user, it binds them in a process known as the Ring Contract. With this contract, all who possess a Sentai Ring must duke it out amongst each other, for the reward for amassing the Sentai Rings is the chance to have their wish granted.
Each Sentai Ring grants their user a unique power that is typically aligned with their ring's motif. Not only that, but it is the Sentai Ring that decides who their wielder is, not TegaSword, which is how Fire Candle managed to become Universe Shinken Red II. TV STORY-Ep. 21: Burning Festival Spirit! TegaSword SUMMER!
When a Universe Warrior's negative feelings interact with their ring, it will cause their form to take on a malicious form. TV STORY-Ep. 13: Housekeeper Run! Ryugi's Manners
Polar Rings[]
The Polar Rings (ポーラーリング Pōrā Ringu) are GozyuPolar's cyan-colored counterparts of the Universe Rings, created by converting an existing Universe Ring into a Polar Ring with the power of the GozyuPolar Ring. The reason for this conversion process is that Kumade believes that TegaSword has failed to protect the world and uphold his wish to save the world after the defeat of The Calamity and the Bridan's invasion, and so strives to become a god so that he can protect the world in TegaSword's place, with the conversion of the Universe Rings into Polar Rings being one step to godhood.
When a Polar Ring is out of range from Kumade, it will revert back to its original color. TV STORY-Ep. 19: WhiteBurn with Two Hearts!
History[]
During the Universe War, the Sentai Robos, cornered by the Calamity, converted their powers into the form of rings, which became the Universe Rings known by the Gozyugers.

Unused Sentai Rings[]
These are Sentai Rings that have sounds programmed into the DX TegaSword, but have no confirmation regarding their presence in the show, and exist here for completion's sake.[20][21]
- Universe (ユニバース Yunibāsu)
Notes[]
- According to Daigo Matsuura, before the collectibles were finalized as Sentai-powered Rings, they were initially proposed as rings worn by monsters of the week and that the heroes obtain them by defeating said monsters, akin to the Gangler from Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. It was rejected out of fear that it would not mix well with antagonists who wield the collectibles whereas the Gozyugers will unite and throw themselves into danger to protect civilians in spite of their differences.[22]
- GozyuPolar's Sentai Ring is the only ring that represents both the helmet of the ranger and the helmet of the associated mecha/robo.
