Sentai Ranger Wannabes

This article is about a set of characters in the Super Sentai series.

Over the course of Sentai history there have been a few characters who've taken it upon themselves to join the cause of the Super Sentai or take up their mantle and name. Typically, these "wannabes" only appear for a short period of time to aid, and sometimes make life a little more difficult for the Sentai Rangers.

Wannabes typically differ from temporary rangers as they cobble together their own interpretation of the suits of the Sentai they are emulating and rely on their own skills, as opposed to taking on the suits and powers of one of the Sentai temporarily.

They are "unofficial" heroes in the sense that they don't belong to any particular team, nor do they take up the cause for an extended period of time. This differs them from full-fledged "unofficial" Sentai Akibarangers.
