Secchan (セッちゃん, Setchan) is the Zenkaigers' Assist Robot.

Character History

Secchan was developed by Kaito's parents to act as a best friend for their son, but knowing of the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo's mad scheme to imprison all sentai worlds, they converted their lab into a secret base for their new Super Sentai team and programed Secchan to activate his hidden protocols as soon as he heard Kaito utter his catchphrase. As expected, Kaito awakened Secchan's new program, and he quickly guided him and Yatsude onto a seat which quickly lowered them into the hidden lab. He then informed the 2 of their plight, and Guided Kaito after he gave a Geartlinger to Juran, assisting their efforts in fighting the Tojitendo invasion.

Personality

When he was first given to Kaito, Secchan had very little in terms of personality, but after his protocols were activated, he became slightly hyperactive and slightly chaotic. He was built with the knowledge of all past Super Sentai teams, and is the wisest member of the Zenkaiger base team. Despite this, he can still get in a foul mood, especially after he was thrown casually by Gaon.

Portrayal

• Secchan is voiced by Misato Fukuen (福圓 美里, Fukuen Misato) who previously voiced Miyuki Hoshizora/Cure Happy in Smile Pretty Cure! (Glitter Force) and more recently, Kanegon in episode 13 of Ultraman Z.

• Secchan is the first bird-based robotic ally since Navi from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.
  • Secchan having knowledge on all the past Super Sentai teams is similar to Gokai Silver.
• Given Secchan's animal motif and color scheme, His design might have been inspired by the Varidorin from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger.
  • Also, Gorengers' organization is called EAGLE, so Secchan may mostly be an eagle.
  • It's usage as an animal robot companion recalls the earliest Sentai series from Gorenger to Sun Vulcan having similar; namely Gon from Gorenger and Kyutaro from Battle Fever J, both based off mynah birds.
