Samantha "Sam" LaRusso is the daughter of Daniel LaRusso and a main character in Cobra Kai, a television spin-off of the Karate Kid franchise.
She became the Pink Mantis Ranger as part of a special exclusive collaboration between Hasbro and the Cobra Kai series for the Lightning Collection.
History[]
Samantha is the daughter of Daniel and Amanda LaRusso. Born on October 14, she is the older sister of Anthony. Till the age of 8, Sam was taught karate by her father, and was close to Mr. Miyagi. He described their relationship as the first time he felt like a Grandfather. As Sam got older, she lost interest in karate and quit. However, she retained her knowledge and skill.
Until the revival of Cobra Kai Samantha resumed her training, she had dated both Miguel Diaz & Robby Keene, and was rivals with Tory Nichols until she found out that she was the real girls All Valley champion because of Terry Silver paying off the officials. She along with Miguel, and the rest of the Eagle Fangs & Miyagi-Do's team up to take down Cobra Kai to get evidence that Silver attacked Stingray but discovered the footage of him telling Tory about him cheating during the tournament.
