The Transformation I.D. SP License (変身手帳SPライセンス, Henshin Techō Esupī Raisensu) is the main transformation device of the Dekarangers.

At the climax of the Legend War, the SP Licenses were made redundant when the Dekarangers sacrificed their powers with the rest of the first 34 Super Sentai to destroy the invasion force of the Space Empire Zangyack. Resurfacing as Ranger Keys, the Dekaranger powers would be used by the Gokaigers to assume their forms via the Gokai Change. Ultimately, the Gokaigers returned their borrowed powers to their rightful owners after overthrowing Zangyack.

According to Doggie Kruger, SP License is considered a part of a Dekaranger's life, so losing it for even a second is a great offense.

Functionality

The SP License is a transformation device created by Special Police Dekaranger to be used by members of the Dekarangers to transform. It features 3 different functions, each separated by 3 different tabs:

• Change Mode (チェンジモード, Chenji Mōdo): Allows the user to transform into a Dekaranger by using the transformation call "Emergency! Dekaranger!". It can also be used to allow the Dekarangers to access S.W.A.T Mode, granting them their S.W.A.T armor and a D-Revolver.
• Phone Mode (フォンモード, Fon Mōdo): Allows the user to use the SP License for basic communications, allowing them to contact others or the DekaBase, as well as summon the DekaMachines.
• Judge Mode (ジャッジモード, Jajji Mōdo): enables the user to initiate Judgement Time, contacting the Universe's Ultimate Court to determine the fate of an Alienizer. The court decides if they are guilty and should be killed or deleted or innocent and either released or held at the DekaBase. Information for judgement is sent to a planet where time accelerates significantly, making the 10-second wait from the SP License equivalent to about 8 months on that planet.

The SP License also features additional functions used by some of the Dekarangers:

• DekaYellow's SP License is able to use the Mirage Dimension deletion attack, which can create illusions and trap enemies in a yellow energy sphere which shrinks and destroys the enemy.
• DekaPink's SP License is able to use the Masquerade Mode technique, which enables Umeko to instantly change her outfit for disguise purposes.

Transformation

To initiate a transformation, the user first slides the switch on the side of the License to the top. They then do a transformation pose, chanting out the transformation call before pressing the button on the top of the license to transform.

The Dekarangers present their SP Licenses... ("Change Standby!")

The DekaMetal forms the suits.
