Ring Contract

The Ring Contract (指輪の契約, Yubiwa no Keiyaku) is a contract between TegaSword and a ringbearer who wields one of the Sentai Rings.

Overview

The Ring Contract is a contract made between TegaSword and those that it chooses, granting them either a Gold TegaSword or Silver TegaSword and a Sentai Ring. This allows those chosen to be able to participate in the Battle for the Rings as a Gozyuger or a Universe Warrior so they may achieve their wish by battling to the top and becoming Number One. Those who enter the Ring Contract are known as Ring Warriors (指輪の戦士, Yubiwa no Senshi).

The process for the Gozyuger members to officially enter the Ring Contract generally begins with them finding either the Gozyuger Rings or the Gozyuger Robo Rings by chance. Once they equipped the said rings on their right index fingers (except Joji Takehara, whose ring simply disappeared), they are transported into a black inner space, with TegaSword Red appearing in front of them. TegaSword then inquires the members of their wish after explaining the detail of the Ring Contract to them.

After the members utter their wish, they officially enter the Ring Contract after receiving a TegaSword. In case of Hoeru Tono who didn't have a wish, TegaSword simply encouraged the former to find his wish as he progressed through the Battle of the Rings.

Due to the nature of the Ring Contract, most of the Universe Warriors are shown to battle one another, including the Gozyugers, beside Bridan. Once a Universe Warrior or a Gozyuger is utterly defeated in a battle against another ring bearer, both their Main Sentai Ring and any Sentai Rings they had confiscated beforehand will be claimed by the winner while the loser's TegaSword disappears, voiding their contract and disqualifying them from the race to be Number One. If a contractor gave up his Sentai Ring at will or lose the Ring due to reasons like theft, he will not be disqualified and still able to join the Battle again as long as he reclaims the Ring. However. If a contractor willingly relinquished their Sentai Ring to another contractor, their Ring Contract will be immediately voided.

For most of the Ring Contractors, despite being rivals, most of them still have the sense of responsibility to protect the world's peace, where they are willing to fight against the Bridans as priority before fighting with other Ring Contractors. While some of them may also develop temporary alliance to order to gather rings more effectively. However, the situation has slightly changed due to Ring Hunter Garyudo, a bounty hunter belonging to Bridan, also has the ability to claim the Sentai Rings from the Universe Warriors he has defeated. Garyudo's presence has also changed the rules, allowing the scenario where if either he or his opponent wins, they lose only a single Sentai Ring, as shown where Garyudo takes Byakuya's Boonboomger Ring but not his Gozyu Leon set as well and him losing the Ninninger Ring against Hoeru but not his entire set.

It was further revealed that the Ring Contract may get nullified if TegaSword's power is taken. This was shown when TegaJune used her kiss to forcefully absorb the power of TegaSword, causing the Ring Contract of the Gozyugers to become nullified with their Gozyuger Rings disappearing without being defeated by Garyudo or the Universe Warriors.
