Rikuo Byakuya (百夜陸王, Byakuya Rikuō) is a former super idol who transforms into GozyuLeon (ゴジュウレオン, Gojū Reon), the Blue Ranger of the Gozyugers.

Past[]

Before the events of the series, Byakuya's eyes were gray, though he changed his eye color at some point.

Present[]

Rikuo is first seen looking at the GozyuLeon Sentai Ring, which had resonated with the soulful howl of GozyuWolf. He was later present alongside Ryugi to witness the unexpected clash between GozyuWolf and Kuwagata Ohger, TV STORY-Ep. 1: Savior No.1! breaking up their fight with the Leon Buster 50.

Later, he makes himself known to Hoeru and Treasure Hunt No.1 by declaring the match his live show and wrestle Treasure Hunter No. 1 while announcing his song. He then transforms into GozyuLeon and battles the Combatant Aryee alongside GozyuTyranno. The No.1 Monsters and Gozyugers then make a deal to see who's the number one treasure hunter, with Rikuo being quick to add the stipend of the monster cannot destroy the city to do so. Rikuo runs into Treasure Hunt No.1 robbing a bank (technically abiding the rules of not destroying the city) while looking for treasure, and with this, Rikuo takes inspiration from the monster's idea to rob people and tricks an old couple that were fans of his into giving him their antique vase. He then brings this vase to the tallying but loses to Treasure Hunt No.1 in a distant second, who then steals his and Ryugi's treasure. He and Hoeru then beats the Combatant Aryee Treasure Hunt No.1 summons. After the Gozyugers defeated the Buraidan forces, he and Ryugi had taken over the Cafe Half Century, turning it to the Tega Sword Village to keep up with Hoeru. Rikuo returned the antique vase back to the elderly couple, though not before signing it with his signature. TV STORY-Ep. 2: Catch the Treasure! It's My Prey

Personality[]

Rikuo is a genius idol full of charisma. A people pleaser and a former "super idol" who is kind to both women and men. After an incident, he was kicked out of his office and became a straggler. He is a strategist and skilled at manipulating people. He is overconfident at times, but he also makes an effort to back it up.

Using the GozyuLeon Sentai Ring, Rikuo engages into a blue lion warrior. His fighting style revolves around gunfire, and he is good at successive firing from his Leon Buster 50.

No.1 Hearing (ナンバーワン聴力, Nanbā Wan Chōryoku): Through the Sentai Ring, GozyuLeon gained the "number one best hearing", able to distinguish distant and faint sounds.

Using the Sentai Rings of Universe Warriors he has defeated, GozyuLeon is able to perform a Retransformation (再変身, Saihenshin) and gain access to the powers of any Red Ranger of his choosing. After transformation, he retains his torso armor as GozyuLeon.
