Revenge of Zen-Aku is the thirteenth episode of Power Rangers Wild Force, continuing the Zen-Aku arc that began in the "Curse of the Wolf". It introduces the subplot connected to future Ranger, Merrick Baliton (a guardian of the Animarium from 3,000 years ago).
Synopsis[]
Zen-Aku frees Motorcycle Org, and kidnaps Princess Shayla. Shayla's necklace brings back vague memories for Zen-Aku. The Rangers battle Motorcycle Org and Zen-Aku, and get back the Princess but lose the Bear Zords crystals in the process.
Plot[]
On the Animarium, the Rangers are alerted by the viewing pond of Zen-Aku and rush to confront him.
On the mountains, Zen-Aku is found by Toxica, who is told by the former that he doesn't work for Master Org, and Toxica realizes Zen-Aku doesn't remember his past to which Zen-Aku demands her to tell him about it.
However, their conversation is cut short by the Rangers' arrival, leading Toxica to teleport away and the Rangers demand the Wolf Duke Org to return their stolen Elephant and Giraffe Zord crystals, however he refuses and summons his Predazord and the Rangers form the Wild Force Megazord but they are horrified (especially Alyssa and Max) when Zen-Aku reveals his new additions to his Predazord: the Elephant and Giraffe Zords and quickly uses them against the Rangers, soon breaking apart their Megazord and demorphing the Rangers, however just when Zen-Aku is about to destroy them, the Predazord is attacked by the Gorilla and the Bear Zords, who arrived on their own to save the Rangers and Zen-Aku retreats but not before promising to come back.
Later, that night, Princess Shayla has a bad feeling about Zen-Aku and decides to check out his former coffin to find out more about him and Taylor accompanies her.
Back in the mountains, Zen-Aku hears the cries of another Org sealed in a stone prison and feeling sympathy, he immediately releases it.
The next morning, Taylor and Shayla arrive to Zen-Aku's coffin and the Princess realizes something is wrong there but before she can elabore further, they're cut short by the arrival of the newly-revived Motorcycle Org, who is recognized by Taylor as an Org they previously sealed and the Org quickly incapacitates Taylor, allowing Zen-Aku to capture Shayla and he convinces Motorcycle Org to leave Taylor for later before they teleport out, taking the Princess with them.
In a warehouse, Motorcycle Org energizes himself, and Zen-Aku becomes intrigued by Shayla's necklace and asks her where she got it and she reveals she got it from someone special to her and she wears it in memory of that person.
At Zen-Aku's coffin, the other Rangers arrive and Taylor reveals she failed at her first mission as a Ranger in defeating Motorcycle Org and the Princess had to seal it away, to which Cole reassures her they will succeed in defeating Motorcycle Org and rescuing the Princess.
Back in the warehouse, Zen-Aku recalls having seeing Shayla's necklace in the past and has flashbacks of her getting it from one of the Ancient Warriors, and she becomes concerned when he is in pain from the memories, however they're cut short when the Rangers arrive to rescue the Princess.
Taylor immediately fights against Motorcycle Org, and the other Rangers rush to help her but they're stopped by Zen-Aku who states that they shouldn't interfere as it's a personal fight and they fight him instead. Toxica and Jindrax briefly consider to help Zen-Aku against the Rangers but they quickly decide to not to and retreat.
Zen-Aku quickly has the upper hand on the Rangers and is about to destroy them when Shayla stops him, and he becomes distracted by his flashbacks, allowing Cole to attack him.
The Rangers manage to defeat Motorcycle Org with the Jungle Sword, enraging Zen-Aku, who summons his Predazord to avenge him and the Rangers summon the Kongazord, the fight eventually lands both of them to the ground, where Zen-Aku tries to capture the Princess again to find out more about his past, but Taylor stops him and ends up demorphed and losing the Bear crystals to Zen-Aku (who is surprised by this as the Rangers usually lose one) and he retreats, but not before Shayla notices that his hand is bleeding, much to her shock.
Taylor is ashamed of losing the Bear Zords, stating she doesn't deserve to be a Ranger, but Cole reassures her they'll succeed in retrieving their stolen Wildzords.
