Retsudo Shiba (志葉 烈堂 Shiba Retsudō) was the first Shinken Red (初代シンケンレッド Shodai Shinken Reddo) who battled the Kusare Gedoushu three hundred years ago, wielding the Kyoryu Maru, sealed Manpuku Aburame away at the Genryu Temple. But, the first Secret Disk was missing somehow.

Portrayal
Retsudo Shiba is portrayed by Masashi Goda (合田 雅吏 Gōda Masashi), who previously portrayed Yuji Mita (OhBlue) in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. Incidentally, the seventeenth Shinken Red, Masataka Shiba, is portrayed by Masaya Matsukaze, who previously portrayed Shun Namiki/MegaBlue in Denji Sentai Megaranger.
