Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue - Power Rangers First Morph

"Lightspeed Rescue!"

The Rescue Morphers were developed and built by Angela Fairweather and the Lightspeed organization and were the first morphers created solely by Earth technology without the help of alien beings or mysticism. After crying out "Lightspeed, Rescue!" the Rangers would press a hidden button, opening the antenna panel/cover on their morphers to reveal a screen from which each Ranger's morphing shield shot out and melds over each Ranger's body to form the suit; a gas mask would be lifted up, then the visors would slam shut after each gas mask was fitted. Each morpher also contains a keypad which allows the Morpher to act as a communicator. Two red lights appeared on the side which light up when acting as either function.

These resembled the Astro Morphers somewhat, being used for communications purposes and other functions though they appeared more compact and modern; like the Astro Morphers and the Transmorphers, these were used by the 5 main Lightspeed Rangers.

Alternative to the Rescue Morphers, the Super Mega Rangers used Legendary Ranger Keys provided by Gosei to assume the corresponding Ranger forms as a Legendary Ranger Mode.

Morphing Sequence

To morph, the Rangers press the side release button which opens the morpher and deploys a large symbol in the shape of their helmet visor. It then passes through the Ranger revealing the suit and helmet without the visor. A respirator then covers their mouth and nose and the visor slides locks into place completing the transformation.
