Recharged is the title of the new era of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers following the conclusion of Charge To 100 and the celebratory Issue #100. The new era kicked off with a new creative team made up of new writer and former Director of Power Rangers Development and Production, Melissa Flores working alongside series artist Simona Di Gianfelice.

Recharged ran from October 26, 2022 through June 2023 with Power Rangers Unlimited: The Coinless, Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce, and MMPR #110 serving as the prelude to the next major Power Rangers event, Darkest Hour.

Synopsis

The ancient past, villainous revelations, and an all-too-familiar evil await the teenagers with attitude as the final fate of a friend hangs in the balance, all while Rita Repulsa — now styling herself as Mistress Vile — prepares a special offering for Dark Specter. Can the Morphin Grid withstand the seemingly unstoppable onslaught from the Rangers’ oldest enemy and her new allies? Boom! Studios announced they would be attending San Diego Comic-Con in a panel titled Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Charge To 100 and Beyond! on Thursday, July 21st at 2:00 PM in Room 25ABC. The panel included Ryan Parrott, Mat Groom, Melissa Flores, Dafna Pleban, and Allyson Gronowitz celebrating 100 issues of Power Rangers comics and discussing what is next for the series. Boom! revealed that the Recharged era would be following Charge To 100 along with a new creative team made up new writer and former Director of Power Rangers Development and Production, Melissa Flores working alongside series artist Simona Di Gianfelice.

Recharged ran from MMPR #101 through MMPR #109. It was revealed that Power Rangers Unlimited: The Coinless, Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce, and MMPR #110 would act as the prelude to the next major Power Rangers event, Darkest Hour. The 12-month story kicks off in August 2023 with MMPR #111 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Power Rangers.
