Raid Team Captain Madrex (斬込隊隊長マッドレックス Kirikomi-tai Taichō Maddorekkusu) or more known as Madrex was the general and captain of the Raid Team of the Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiriyan. He also had a pet dog named Hashiriken (ハシリ犬 ) on his left thigh. After his first defeat, he was revived by Rebuild Captain Disrace as Madrex Fury (マッドレックス・フューリー Maddorekkusu Fyūrī).[1]
History
Overseeing the Sanseaters
In an abandoned warehouse, Madrex is heard by the Sanseaters via Decotrade's Zekkyo Big Microphone. The Sanseaters' assure him that they will gather more Ghassolin from conquering Earth. He is much pleased to hear so and assures that the boss will be satisfied. Though, he does warn the generals to not ruin his image in the process. TV STORY-Bakuage 2: The Informant Does Not Approve
In an abandoned apartment, Madrex through a projection in Decotrade's Zekkyo Big Microphone is disappointed at the lack of Ghassolin. Itasha and Decotrade attempt to blame Yaiyai Yarucar for their failures, and Madrex emits out fire through the projection nearly roasting them. He mentions that this is the opportunity for Mad Rex’s squad to move up in the world and asks the generals to get their acts together, making sure to mention that no one is to mess with the Hashiriyans.

Arrival on Earth
Entering into Earth's atmosphere in a fiery meteor, Captain Madrex lands and emerges in front of the Sanseaters. His Hashiri Dog signals him to the restroom as the Sanseaters kept on nagging behind him. He uses it as an example to why they keep getting beaten by the Boonboomgers. He then found a toilet and used the Ignition Key to create the Toilet Grumer to absorb Ghassolin. Later in the city, he encounters Taiya Hando while supervising the Grumer collecting Ghassolin and wants Bun Red all to himself due to him making a fool of the Hashiriyans. Looking forward to a fight, he repels Bun Red with his staff far away into a construction area as they engage in combat.
At the quarry, Madrex fights with Bun Red where he slightly has him on the edge with his attacks until Taiya uses the Kart Tector and Boon Boots to create a gyro-like mechanism to gain his balance back. Amusing Madrex himself, he gets serious and generates his Hot Deathrod finisher to finish off Bun Red. But Genba lends a hand and helps out Bun Red to deflect the projectile just in time. The fight would then stop when it’s time to walk Hashiriken and Madrex commends Taiya for his prowess and asks for his name. Performing his roll call, Madrex expects to catch him on the course next time they meet and disappears in a smoke fog. TV STORY-Bakuage 6: White and Black
Being merry on a torn couch, Madrex reminisces about his previous battle with Bun Red as he hasn't had a fight get that intense in a long time. He hears the Sanseaters nag about his daydreaming and snaps back into reality to harshly question them. Hashiriken then barks and Madrex attends to it. It directs him to a cement wall and barks again; Madrex believes in his "idea". He feeds it and tells Itasha to use an Ignition Key on the cement wall. Using the key, the Block Wall Grumer was born. Madrex then uses this opportunity to go after the Boonboomgers while the Sanseaters get Ghassolin energy.
Later below ground, he interferes in a battle with the Boonboomgers and the Kurumaju right when Bun Red was about to perform his signature attack. Madrex quotes that he's been waiting to see them much to their confusion and displeasure. He launches a barrage of attacks from his Angry Deathrod that keeps the four heroes on their feet. He praises them for their prowess but assures to end them and creates a powerful attack with Deathrod which the Boonboomgers counter with a Bakuage Handle Drive. It fails and the heroes are knocked down which amuses the captain. Now with the new addition of Bun Orange, he sends forth Nejiretta and the Block Wall Grumer while he pays his attention towards Bun Red. Both fiercely engaging in combat, Bun Red gains the upper hand and leaves a scar on the chest of Madrex with the Boonboom Handle. The Grumer steps in to assist but it would be destroyed by Bun Orange as a result. Afterwards, Madrex hysterically laughs given he gloats about his body and Bun Red had the temerity to damage it. This enraged him and he uses Deathrod but Bun Red and Orange destroy the attack which gave Madrex a chance to get away. TV STORY-Bakuage 7: Procurer's Brake
Bun Red Rivalry & First Death
Back at the lost and found junkyard, Madrex is infuriated, coming to the conclusion that their plan to conquer Earth has been halted. Thus, he vows to serve the planet up to his boss Waruido Spindo. He then lets out a storm of fire from his engine as he angrily yells out for Bun Red due to him getting him to this point of frustration. Shortly after, he summons the Sanseaters and commands them to bring him Bun Red.
Later on, Madrex arrives and gives his monologue at the warehouse where the Sanseaters managed to lure and trap the Boonboomgers with themselves; except Taiya. Taiya changes into Bun Red and Madrex suggest that they go all out then charges at his opponent. Both match each other in skill which impresses Madrex. He asks Bun Red if he'd want to join him by reason of seeing how the hero also needs someone worthy of a challenge. He discards the fact of his alliance with the other Boonboomgers and proposes the fact of racing throughout the universe. Madrex even said that the boss might like Taiya and exults about the latter's status. So Bun Red makes a deal that if Madrex can defeat him that he'll join him. Much to Madrex's amusement, they clash again and Madrex sends an all-powerful drill attack at Bun Red but misses; giving Taiya time to deliver a blow to the captain and get the win. This annoys Madrex as he expresses that if they can't be on the same side, then he'll destroy him instead.
He calls for Yarucar to supply him with Ghassolin. Madrex squeezes the Ghassolin out of the car and uses it to enlarge himself. First facing off against Boonboomger Robo Police, he transforms Deathrod into its motor unicycle mode. He uses it to dodge the robo's projectiles, cause explosions and deal a blow stating that the Boonboomgers cannot keep up. Now utilizing Boonboomger Robo Builder, Madrex reverts the unicycle back to default and starts to fight on ground. He vastly overwhelms the Robo, having the heroes form Boonboomger Robo before Madrex strikes Boonboom Wagon out in mid-combination. Now with three Boonboomgers left, he applies pressure down on the robo. They call on Boonboom Classic and activates the Bakuage Sword which was enough to fend off Madrex for a little. He then uses a sparky drill attack that causes the robo to drop the Bakuage Sword and have the Bakuage Driver's blade broken. Madrex brags in their face about this is what happens when a Hashiriyan official gets serious. As a last resort, Boonboom Off-Road Ghost is summoned and Boonboomger Robo Puncher is formed. The robo would uppercut Madrex off of his vehicle as he tries to rush at them. Hence, both opponents dealt a heavy blow to one another's face which cancels them out. Reverting back to human-size, Madrex retreats. TV STORY-Bakuage 8: Runaway and Divide
Madrex angrily barges in on whining Sanseaters and declares that he must destroy Bun Red this time with a promise to offer him to the boss in a bad state. Hashiriken barks to his owner and Madrex calls it out for calling their battle a tie and vows to finish him off. He is later seen in combat against Bun Blue, Pink, Black and Orange whereupon he overpowers them and urges for them to fetch Bun Red as he's not here to fight them.

Madrex's First Death
Battling them for quite sometime, he unleashes a barrage of drills on the Boonboomgers with Deathrod. About to finish them off, Hashiriken barks and signals the arrival of Shirabe in the Boonboom SuperCar. A injured Taiya hops out of the vehicle and it pleases Madrex to see him. Madrex then combats all five Boonboomgers and easily gets defeated, as they "unscrew" his body in the process. This damages him badly so he calls for Yaruka again to supply him with Ghassolin to enlarge himself again. Madrex notices that the Boonboomgers are using a new formation but it'll be rendered useless against him. He uses Deathrod's motor unicycle mode to rush at the robo but is overpowered with its sheer speed with the Bakuage Sword. The other Boonboom Cars interfere and drives through Madrex, weakening him. Using the sparky drill finisher, the Boonboomgers counter him with the Bakuage Sword: Boonboom Finish. He races towards the robo at full speed and is struck at full force. In his final moments, he states that Bun Red will never defeat Waruido Spindo if this is all he's got before he falls to his destruction as Hashiriken barks in sorrow. Personality
As the captain of his team, Madrex takes his duties very seriously and is strict with his henchmen. He cares greatly about the status of his team, and regularly reprimands his lieutenants for their failure to gather Ghassolin, insisting that they work harder as their invasion of Earth provides them a great opportunity to elevate their group's status inside Hashiriyan.
Madrex takes immense pride in his position and being part of the space mafia, warning his subordinates to not let the name of Hashiriyan to be insulted. When Madrex emotions build up enough, it can cause him to expel bursts of flame around him, which also happened when he was frustrated with his team's failure to the point he projected fire from the communication screen.
Madrex speaks on a rough, delinquent manner, akin to that of a street thug, in likelihood because of his status as a high ranking mafia enforcer. He is shown to be very proud and likes challenge, immediately taking an interest in Bun Red and going to great lengths to fight him personally, even giving him praise. Madrex is an adrenaline addict, becoming excited when the Boonboomgers managed to inflict an injury on him, the first in a long time he had received, which coupled with his mannerisms, particularly his signature introductory phrase, portrays him as akin to an illegal racer, which is further reinforced by his aggressive fighting style.
Madrex holds his boss, Waruido Spindo, in high regard, believing him "too big for the universe", and tried to recruit Bun Red seeing him as a worthy rival, wanting to show him the races they could have together in the universe. By the same extension, despite his adoration for the Sanseaters, he doesn't hold them with the same regard, regularly belittling them whenever they failed and even squeezing Yaiyai Yarucar for its Ghassolin in order to grow larger for a second bout against Bun Red, which left them shocked. Although, Mad Rex possibly do this out of Tough Love.
Contrary to his inflamed disposition, Madrex is very fond of his pet dog and can easily get distracted to attend to its needs.
After being revived by Disrace, he would forget his rivalry with Bun Red, and his memories with the Sanseaters as he become a sort of puppet to Disrace, cold and emotionless and only existing to serve under him as a bodyguard. However, he’s shown to regain parts of his memories after Bun Red struck him on his head. Later Disrace would strengthen his control over Madrex but that would later be undone after he saw Boonboomger Robo Knight and now is playing along with Disrace by pretending to still be under his control, although eventually Disrace finds out about this.
Mad Rex is fully aware that ever since his revival, he had lost everything to Disrace, such as his pride, his dreams and his ability to take his wheel for himself. As such, he becomes more cynical after regaining his memories back, even asking Bun Orange to relay his request to Bun Red for the latter to kill him since he's nothing more than a Clown that dances on Disrace palms. Upon being fully freed from Disrace control, Mad Rex finally acknowledged Boonboomgers in the same regard as his boss, even voicing his belief that they might be the one who will successfully reached Waruido on the other side of Speed. At the end of his life, Mad Rex also regained his hands on his handle one last time, dying as a prideful Raid Captain at last.
