The Moon Beckons!! (月が招く!! Tsuki ga Maneku!!) is the tenth episode of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. It is the beginning of the arc in pursuit of GaoKing's "Heart", introducing the GaoGorilla mecha and a new main mecha combination: GaoMuscle.
Synopsis
Weakened from a previous battle, the rangers are instructed to travel to a sacred forest to retrieve a special mushroom that can heal Gao Lion, but encounter a mysterious group of people that need their help.
Plot
There was friction between Gao Lion, Gao Bear and Gao Polar. To remedy the wounded Gao Soul, the heroes had to go find a cure - the Radiant Mushroom - in the Sacred Forest. When Tsuetsue and Yabaiba followed, they encountered Bulldozer Org. The Sacred Forest’s warriors, including Kiyo, asked the Gao to help them defeat an evil spirit in the area. The team eventually ended up fighting the giant Bulldozer Org. However, the two new Power Animals still didn’t accept Gao Lion so Bear Strike was unavailable. Gao King Double Knuckle disassembled and the individual Power Animals fought the enemy. Kiyo conjured a new Gao Jewel for Kakeru. The local guardian deity Gao Gorilla then appeared. It weakened Bulldozer Org with Banana Bomb before forming Gao Muscle with the other Power Animals. Finally, the Org was killed by Unrivaled Strength Muscle Lariat. The Gaoranger returned to their world without the Radiant Mushroom. Upon looking inside an old hokora, they found the magical fungus in a box addressed from Kiyo. They realized that they didn’t cross dimensions, but they actually went back in time to the Tensho era.
