Propagation Ninja Kuttsukuhoushi (繁殖忍者クッツク法師 Hanshoku Ninja Kuttsukuhōshi, 9, 25, Movie) was a member of Chuuzubo's Ninja Corps. He serves as the primary antagonist of the ninth episode of Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger Scroll 9: The Thunder Brothers and The Hourglass.
History[]
A cicada chūnin working under Chuuzubo who used his "Space Ninpou: Cicada Transfer" to take 100 to begin the pupation ceremony to overrun the world with cicadas and obtain "it". However, Kuttsukuhoushi had a short lifespan and died before he succeeded due to all the lollygagging around he had been doing, falling flat on his side and lifeless whilst his effects were nullified and his victims were freed. He was revived by Wendine's bazooka at which point they formed Senpuujin which he tried to kick to pieces but they punched him down. They then summoned the Sword Slasher and killed him with its Copy Illusion Slash which tore him apart. TV STORY-Scroll 9: The Thunder Brothers and The Hourglass
Kuttsukuhoushi was one of five Chunin resurrected by Vamp-Iyan, Kuttsukuhoushi attacked Hakata and battled HurricaneRed until Vamp's death forced Kuttsukuhoushi back to the afterlife. TV STORY-Scroll 25: Ghost and Schoolgirl
Personality[]
Kuttsukuhoushi was a cunning, unpredictable, manipulative and intelligent alien ninja, who was determined to finish his mission of awakening the "It" and serving Tau Zanto to help his master take over the universe and getting rid of Hurricanegers. However, his personality was nothing different than personalities of the previous Jakanja monsters, being overall, slightly clumsy, arrogant and confident in his abilities and his plans were slightly not calculated enough and confident and so al, of this eventually led to his defeat at the hands of Hurricanegers.

- Teleportation: Kuttsukuhoushi could teleport to any place at his will.
- Superhuman Strength: This alien ninja was, while not so powerful as the later ninjas of Jakanja, but he still possessed a supernatural levels of physical strength to battle the Hurricanegers.
- Flight: Kuttsukuhoushi could fly, being a cicada themed monster.
- Energy Blasts: The monster could also able to fire energy blasts.
Abilities[]
- Space Ninpou: Cicada Projection (宇宙忍法・蝉映し Uchū Ninpō Semi Utsushi): His main ability that allowed him summon armies of cicadas to serve and help him with his missions.
- Space Ninpou: Rising Cicada (宇宙忍法・蝉立ちぬ Uchū Ninpō Semi Tachinu): His second ability that allowed thd space ninja to start the cicada ceremony and help him awaken the It to destroy the Earth. His spell was stopped before he would manage to complete this.
Weaknesses[]
- Limited Lifespan: His lifespan was limited due to being a cicada-themed alien, and he was supposed to finish his mission before it would end, but he failed.

Etymology[]
- His name is derived from "kuttsuku" (くっ付く, to stick to) and "tsuku-tsuku-boushi" (ツクツクボウシ, meimuna opalifera, a species of cicada.)

- Although Kuttsukuhoushi was adapted into Power Rangers Ninja Storm, only footage from his second appearance was used in The Samurai's Journey.
