Project Nomad was the code-name of an unmade AAA-title Power Rangers video game set in an alternate universe.
According to former Hasbro employee Jason Bischoff, head of franchise operations for Power Rangers, the game was to be an open world action RPG game where the Power Rangers engaged in a war to liberate Eltar from some unspecified enemy and was going for an “Arkham” tone with a darker storyline. The proposal concepts included modern re-designs of the original costumes and Zords.[1][2] The game designers proposed upgrades for weapons with each on a three tier leveling system. The game designers based on preliminary art also experimented with the idea of letting players pilot Zords to take down enemy mecha. The game also would have featured online multiplayer, allowing a group of friends to take on the role of a squad of Rangers in co-op combat.
However, the game never came to be both because of financing issues related to the cost of such a game and because Saban Brands was in the middle of creating the 2017 film and thus was unable to allocate time to it. It's believed that the concept for the game eventually evolved into Power Rangers Legacy Wars which was released three years later.

Notes
Had the game been completed, it would have featured the first on screen appearance of Alpha 4, Alpha 5’s immediate predecessor. To date, Alpha 4 has only ever been seen in storage during "Hogday Afternoon."
Despite bringing Project Nomad to light and showing the concept art, Jason was forced to delete his Twitter posts related to the game for unknown reasons.
Chris Dattoli salvaged the Mighty Morphin team concept from the game by teaming up with My Hero Studios to create 1/4 scale collectible statues of his designs to sell to fans.
