Praxis is a robotic blue diamond-themed bee-like alien created by Mora to serve Emperor Gruumm and is the first monster of Power Rangers S.P.D.. He is the first alien monster who fought the B-Squad Rangers and serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Confronted".

History

Mega Drill

Praxis was created by Mora. Praxis was the first of Mora's drawing to come to life and assist Emperor Gruumm.

Broodwing created a gigantic drill tank-like robot called the Mega Drill and gave it to Praxis. The Mega Drill possessed enormous drills, was able to throw ground on enemies, and armed with laser cannons. Gruumm sent Praxis on Earth to attack Newtech City. Praxis arrived at Earth and attacked the city and encountered the Power Rangers. He nearly defeated four Delta Runners, but Jack arrived at the Red Delta Runner and the Rangers formed the Delta Squad Megazord. Praxis fought the Megazord, but the Megazord's sword and final attack from its blaster destroyed the robot.

Praxis managed to get out but the heroes battled him with their weapons. Praxis told the heroes that they wouldn't scare him. He was then defeated by the Delta Blaster in Combo Mode. Jack told Praxis that if Gruumm wanted to conquer Earth, he had to deal with the Rangers first. Praxis was then judged by Jack, who used the Judge Scanner to find the monster guilty. Then Praxis was captured by Jack using the Red Delta Morpher in the Data Card. TV STORY-Confronted

Personality

Praxis was a chaotic and destructive alien who will stop at nothing to destroy the Power Rangers. But he is loyal to Gruumm and Mora.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Blaster Summoning: Praxis was able to generate his blaster into his hand.

Abilities

• Durability: Despite being the first monster, Praxis posses thick skin with withstand attacks, he can take a lot of of strong hits without being taken down. Having parts of his robot's cockpit explode in his face only made him yell in pain. When confronted by the Rangers, he was shot multiple times by the Delta Blasters without being harmed and easily took a spinning blow from Jack's Delta Blasters and Sky's Deltamax Striker in sword mode with barely any reaction. A big leaping slash from Bridge's Deltamax Striker did nothing and multiple slashes from Z's and Syd's Deltamax Strikers had the same outcome. Even the Delta Blasters in Combo Mode only sent him flying to the ground.
• Expert Zord Pilot: Praxis was extremely proficient with piloting the Mega Drill to the point of almost defeating the Delta Runners.

  Blaster: When he fought the Rangers, Praxis generated a blaster to aid him in combat, which can fire blue energy lasers from his blaster. This was powerful enough to cause small explosions behind the Rangers but failed to stop them.
