Plot[]
In the past, The Horrid were originally a peaceful, civilized race. They made technological advancements to their planet, but wanted to search for more life outside the planet. The Horrid believed that it would take decades to find other planets so they arrogantly attempted to control reality using some sort of new technology. The process destroyed their planet and trapped the Horrid in between dimensions becoming neither dead or alive. It took centuries for them to adapted to their new forms, learn how to absorb the life force of other beings to become real, they became the Horrid.
Lord Drakkon expressed amazement to the Horrid, with the Horrid King reminding Drakkon that he spared his life for the location of other habitable planets for them to feast upon. Drakkon warned them the Omega Rangers are still active. The Horrid King sent the others after them.
Meanwhile, XI discovered something as Trini returned from the airlock. Jason, Zack, and Yale arrived to lead them to a temporary safe location from the Horrid. When they arrived to the Hanger Bay, Zack wondered how the Horrid got here with XI hypothesizing that the Horrid are inter-dimensional parasites that attached themselves to the Spectrum II when they went through the system. Jason then come up with plans to take back the ship, Zack suggested to self-destruct the ship and leave Drakkon behind should their plan failed. But Trini showed concern Drakkon, reminding them that he can find The Empyreal, Zack didn't care for Drakkon, causing an argument. XI breaks up the argument, with a plan in mind: The Horrid feed on energy, so they need to find an extraordinary source of energy to distract them. The Omega Rangers used Yale to scout the area, the others are surprised to see how Zack quickly bond with Yale despite their differences. When they reached the airlocks, the Rangers ejected themselves into space to attack the Horrid. With the King and Drakkon watching nearby. While Zack and Trini distracted the Horrid. Jason summoned his Red Omega Zord to converge the Horrid to his location, he then activated his forcefield for them to feed on its energy. With the Horrid distracted, XI and Yale arrived near the King's location, XI tried to intimidated the King to call off his minions. But the King boasted that they can defeat him. But before he can take any action. Drakkon backstabbed the King, killing him causing the Horrid outside to be in pain. XI revealed that Drakkon's collar has been tracking his location to convince the Rangers that he was really betraying them. With that done, the Rangers use the remaining batteries to jumpstart the Spectrum II to go to the location, with the Red Omega Zord on tow.
Jason then expressed to XI about his fear of going this far into space, but XI told him he had already been this far into space before. During the events of Shattered Grid. XI also revealed he didn't tell the Rangers about Drakkon's plan because it would jeopardize the plan, much to Jason's shock. Zack then played fetch with Yale, while Trini escort Drakkon back to his cell, which she was amazed how Drakkon would put himself on the line to save the Rangers. When the Rangers arrived at the destination, they found it to be a disoriented world, with a disoriented Dragonzord and the White Tigerzord.
