The Power Morphicon is a biennial Power Rangers and tokusatsu-themed convention, which takes place at various convention halls in the state of California.
The first Power Rangers convention, took place in Los Angeles, in 2007. It celebrated fifteen years of Power Rangers on the air at the time, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) to Power Rangers Operation Overdrive (2007). A second convention took place from August 27–29, 2010 in Los Angeles, celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995). A third convention took place August 17-19, 2012 in Los Angeles, this time they celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of the release of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997).
A fourth convention took place August 22-24, 2014, it celebrating twenty-one years of the franchise being on the air, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) to Power Rangers Super Megaforce (2014) . It also made it the first time at Power Morphicon that actors from the Super Sentai franchise also attended. A fifth convention took place on August 12-14, 2016 and was in Pasadena, California. A sixth convention took place on August 17-19, 2018, this time in Anahiem, California. It celebrated twenty-five years of the franchise being on the air, from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993) to Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel (2018). A seventh convention will take place on September 4-6, 2020, this time returning to Pasadena, California.
