Pollinator is a plant/squid themed monster created by Mesogog. He was combined with DNA of squid and plant Osmanthus. He serves as one of the main antagonists of the second part of the episode "Back in Black".
Biography
Pollinator was created by Mesogog. He was sent with Zeltrax, Elsa and big squad of Tyrranodrones to stop the Dino Rangers, when they attempted to enter Mesogog's lair and save Tommy. Their first encounter failed. The second battle was inside lair of Mesogog and again villains failed. The Rangers saved Tommy and took Black Dino Gem. Their third encounter was in Reefside. During the battle Tommy fough Zeltrax, Conner with Elsa and Pollinator fought with Ethan and Kira. Pollinator became invisible but he was defeated by rangers. When Conner came, Pollinator was destroyed from Z-Rex Blaster. Mesogog activated Hydro-Regenerator and revived and enlarged Pollinator. In the gian fight Pollinator nearly defeated Dino Megazord with his energy tentacles, but Hayley gave Tommy Cephala Zord and Pollinator was finally destroyed by Thundersaurus Megazord's Cephala Power Punch.
Personality
Pollinator is quite cunning and unpredictable. He is very sneaky, abusive and tricky as he tricked the rangers and laughed on them. But he is also arrogant and confident and was finally defeated by rangers. He is also cowardly as he feared to loose the rangers. But he is highly loyal to Mesogog.
Powers and Abilities
- Superhuman strength: Pollinator has big physical strength enough to fight the rangers.
- Superhuman agility: Pollinator is highly agile enough to fight the rangers.
- Invisibility: He has the ability to become invisible.
- Tentacles: With his DNA of a squid, his tentacles can extend and attack to his enemies. Too discharge rays when the enemy is strangled.
- Energy blasts: Pollinator can shoot with energy blasts.
