- "Piranhatrons!"
- ―Divatox summoning them
The Piranhatrons were the basic soldiers used by Divatox in Power Rangers Turbo.
History
Piranhatrons have their own language which is very similar to the sounds uttered by the Putty Patrollers. No matter what plan Divatox would implement, the Piranhatrons were usually involved somehow. They would often be called upon to engage the Power Rangers in battle by themselves or in conjunction with a monster.
Piranhatrons can teleport and are trained in the use of a variety of weapons. Among these are hammers, spears, and wrist mounted gauntlets that fire blasts of energy.
An army of Piranhatrons and Quantrons was used in Dark Specter's Universal Takeover commanded by Elgar on Earth battling the Rangers and the citizens of Angel Grove. Eventually all of them were destroyed by Zordon's Energy Wave. TV STORY-Countdown to Destruction
The Piranhatrons were supposedly all destroyed by Zordon's Energy Wave when the United Alliance of Evil was destroyed in Countdown to Destruction, though it's possible those in Divatox's army weren't the only members of their species and some still existed elsewhere. It's also possible that some of the Piranhatrons in her army were able to survive the energy wave somehow.
When Karone disguised herself as Astronema to find the pink Quasar Saber, two Piranhatrons were present in the tavern on Onyx where the saber was being auctioned off. They were on Onyx Auction security duty. TV STORY-Protect the Quasar Saber

Etymology
Given that these grunts are themed after fantastical fish-men or sahagins, Piranhatron is constructed from piranha, an omnivorous fish found primarily in the Amazon River of South America, and the sci-fi-inspired suffix -tron (cf. electronic), implying a machine-like being.
Notes
- The Piranhatrons are the third warriors to appear in three seasons and the only foot soldiers in three consecutive seasons (Turbo, In Space, Lost Galaxy).
- The Piranhatrons are the third main group of foot soldiers to be exclusive to Power Rangers, as the Chromites' counterparts, the Wumpers, were the only foot soldiers in Carranger.
- The costume for the Piranhatrons was recycled for Men in White as the hired soldiers of Glaxxon, as well as in commercials for Bandai's Armouron toys.
- One of the helmets of the movie Piranhatrons was featured in episode 22 of season 17 of the History Channel series Pawn Stars, where it was almost sold for $1,000, but was passed on due to some paint issues.[1]
