Onimaru (鬼丸 ) and Yamimaru (闇丸 ) are the final Majin of the Space Pirates Barban loyal to Sword General Budoh. They are also the most powerful of the Budoh Majin Mob.
History[]
Early life[]
Yamimaru and Onimaru joined Balban st some point of their life, presumably after the alien pirates conquered their homeworld. After that, they pledged their loyalty to Captain Zahab and his commanders.
Helping Budoh to prove his innocence[]
Yamimaru was a green shark-like and Onimaru was a red hammerhead shark-like Majin. They were alien monster brothers who were tasked of proving Budoh's innocence. Onimaru and Yamimaru released Budoh from his prison in Balban's castle and Budoh agreed to work with them due to the fear for his own life and because of his desire to restore hid honor before Captain Zahab. Together the evil trio went to find the clues of Budoh's innocence by finding the one who was truly guilty. The brothers revealed to Budoh that it was ultimately Illiess who had set him up, with the help of Medoumedou. Budoh and his comrades found Medomedou and after Budoh found out everything he wanted to know from the villainess, the general and his servants started fighting Medomedou and her minions. However, after their brief battle, the Gingamen arrived and started fighting both villainous sides. After realizing that they were losing the battle, the brothers enlarged themselves by using their Balba extract. Yamimaru and Onimaru alongside Budoh fought and were the first to be killed by Super Armor Shine Gingaioh.
Gingaman vs Megaranger[]
The shark brothers were again revived by Captain Gregory in the crossover movie, just before they were killed by Ryuoma for the final time.
Personality[]
Both brothers were evil, cunning, sinister and treacherous monsters, who were faithful and totally loyal to Balban and their generals. However, despite being evil, they were still faithful to their masters, and had some standards, such as despising deception and Incrimination, because they considered that Balban members had to be loyal to each other and had no right to betray each other for the personal gain. Even they were disgusted that Illies framed Budoh and wanted to help their leader to prove his innocence and get revenge on Illies and Medomedou for their treachery. Also, despite being villains, both brothers were pretty funny and behaved quite comedically and mischievously and overall all of their villainy was played for laughs.
