The Omikoshi Phoenix (オミコシフェニックス, Omikoshi Fenikkusu) is a phoenix-themed mecha used by Don Momotaro to power-up into GolDon Momotaro.

Overview

A golden-like Phoenix with a blue visor and chrome gold wings that has the engraving of the sky, waves and Donbrothers emblem with red outlined on the wing’s edge. It is equipped with a blue pointer, which can be used to fire blue spike blasts through the opponent when combined with the Donblaster.

To initiate the transformation, Don Momotaro summons Omikoshi Phoenix and folds the wings to combine it with the Donblaster. He spins the gear, initiating the gold waves as men carry him on a red portable shrine and women dance around him. He then fires the Blaster, opening up the door for Omikoshi Phoenix to appear and shoots down a blue energy beam that attaches the GolDon armor onto his Momotaro base suit and reforming his helmet in the GolDon armor, allowing him to become GolDon Momotaro.

By initiating the transformation with a Legend Sentai gear, Don Momotaro is able to equip the GolDon Armor while Avatar Changed as another sentai ranger. The helmets remain unchanged.

GolDon Momotaro loads the Kiwami Robotaro Gear in the Donblaster. He spins the gear and charges it, summoning the Omikoshi Phoenix and initiates the Omikoshi Dai Gattai. Don Onitaijin performs its default combination with the four Robotaro combining onto Don Robotaro. Omikoshi Phoenix comes and disassembles, using its bottom pointer to attach the Kiji Swords and Don Robotaro’s kamishimo-style breastplate to form the GolDon Lance. Its head and wings now attach to become the new chest armor for the Mecha with the Phoenix hawking. Lastly, the new face plate is placed on and the Kiwami Avataro Gear would onto the center of the GolDon Lance to complete GolDon Onitaijin as it would raise the weapon behind the Donbrothers voyage carrying the Omikoshi Shrine.

While combined as Toradora Onitaijin, Don Robotaro summons Omikoshi Phoenix, and initiates a combination. The parts used to form the GolDon Lance separate from the robo, while the weapons on the arms combine with the lance to form the GolDon Lance Kiwami. Don Robogoku switches from the chest to form a new right hand, while the remaining parts of Omikoshi Phoenix disassembles to form the chest armor, rear skirt, helmet, and mouth piece of Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami, completing the combination.

To finish an opponent, GolDon Momotaro uses his crystalline peach technique to trap his opponent. He then flips up the wing and presses the mini-shaped peach button on the back of the Omikoshi Phoenix. It charges the Donblaster with red and white energy as it forms a gold spiral. He fires the Guffawing Peach: Festival End (抱腹(ほうふく)絶桃(ぜっとう)・フェスティバル縁弩(エンド), Hōfuku Zettō: Fesutibaru Endo) finisher, where a gold energy Phoenix is launch and absorbs Momotaro in the process, combining their powers. He flies around in gold luster as it strikes red lightning. It swoops down towards the trapped enemy before bashing it repeatedly until it shatters, letting Momotaro initiate the final blow. During the explosion, he transforms back into GolDon Momotaro.

Phoenix Mode (フェニックスモード, Fenikkusu Mōdo) is Omikoshi Phoenix’s default form that it appears in when summoned. In combat, it can generate an avatar form of an omikoshi shrine that fires lightning bolts at the Hitotsuking.

Omikoshi Dai Gattai GolDon Onitaijin (おみこし大合体ゴールドンオニタイジン, Omikoshi Dai Gattai GōruDon'Onitaijin) is the combined form of Don Onitaijin and the Omikoshi Phoenix.

When combined with the Omikoshi Phoenix, Don Onitaijin receives a boost in power and speed that exceeds even its default's. It wields the GolDon Lance (ゴールドン・ランス, GōruDon Ransu) for slash and thrust attacks against the Hitotsuking, and the Golden Shield (ゴールデンシールド, Gōruden Shīrudo), which can alter its size to deflect incoming attacks or absorb them before GolDon Onitaijin strikes the shield with the GolDon Lance to fire them back. The mecha still retains some of its original attacks, such as the use of Oni Sister Robotaro to perform an upgraded Saikyo Oni Kick (西京鬼キック, Saikyō Oni Kikku), a super kick attack.

Its finisher is the Dauntless Peach: Donbro Utopia (不桃不屈・ドンブラユートピア, Futō Fukutsu: Donbura Utopia), where the Kiwami Gear spins on the GolDon Lance, enlarging it as GolDon Onitaijin points it at the Hitotsuking when charging and fires a blue energy beam to destroy it.

It can also turn fully gold which powers it up immensely.

Kyukyoku Dai Gattai Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami (究極大合体トラドラオニタイジン極(きわみ), Kyūkyoku Dai Gattai Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami) is the combined form of Toradora Onitaijin and the Omikoshi Phoenix.

This combination is far more agile than Toradora Onitaijin, becoming more agile and fast without the assistance of the Avatar Horse, and its power output is similarly increased by a significant margin, as it was able to stop and flip Kyukyuking with little effort. It also wields the upgraded GolDon Lance Kiwami (ゴールドンランス極(きわみ), GōruDon Ransu Kiwami), the combined form of the GolDon Lance with the Netsuretsu Kangeki and the Aegis Toraiger; the gestalt mecha can use the weapon to generate iridescent energy slashes with a single swipe.

Its finisher is the Unified Galactic Peach: Donbro Fantasia Kiwami (銀河桃一・ドンブラファンタジア極, Gingatōitsu Donbura Fantajia Kiwami), where the GolDon Lance Kiwami levitates in front of Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami after the Kiwami Avataro Gear spins and generates energy as astral manifestations of the mecha's components surround it. The weapon then fires a red energy beam between two iridescent energy beams from the Omikoshi Phoenix's wings as the weapon rockets toward the target Hitotsuking, all of which strikes the target in full force upon its destruction.

Etymology

• The Omikoshi Phoenix's name comes from omikoshi, a shrine that is often carried as part of a Japanese festival organized at the end of summer to thank the gods for the crops.

• Much like Toradora Onitaijin, Toradora Onitaijin Kiwami does not have its own suit and only exists as a CGI model.
• When used with the Avataro Gears for the Sempaiger teams, the standby sound changes to that of their team’s ultimate weapon.
