Etymology[]
- Omega (Ώ,ω), meaning "great O", is the twenty-fourth and final letter of the modern Greek alphabet, usually converted to Latin long "o", "oo", or "ou". From ancient times, omega has also been used to indicate the final item in a set or series, or the ultimate instance of something.
- Ultrazord is typically given to the ultimate combination of most, if not all, Zords in a particular Zord system. This suggests that the combination of the four Omegazords (minus Gold) is the ultimate combination within the system.
- The spelling of "Omegazords" has occasionally changed to "Omega Zords" in the text.
Notes[]
- In another example of Power Rangers Zords reusing names in the english dub, the Omegazords share their names with the Lightspeed Rescue spacefaring Omegazords that form the Omega Megazord.
