This article is about a Zord in Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Samurai. |
- "OctoZord, I need you!"
- ―Antonio summoning the OctoZord[src]
The OctoZord is Gold Samurai Ranger's Zord that resembles a squid (though incorrectly referred to as an octopus). It has a special ink that can hit invisible enemies to make them visible.
Overview[]
The OctoZord was given by Jayden to Antonio as his parting present when he left years ago, when they were children. Upon his return, Antonio reveals that he could utilize the OctoZord in the same way that the other Rangers use their FoldingZords. It can be accessed by using symbol power on the mini emblem modes of their Zords, and transforming the Barracuda Blade into the Mega Blade which turns Antonio into his Mega Mode form. Once in the cockpit, he uses the OctoZord disc, locks it onto the control panel and uses it to execute certain commands. The Mega Blade folds and becomes a joystick. Super attacks are performed with Antonio's 'home-made' Samurai Morpher.

Octo Spear Megazord[]
The Octo Spear Megazord is formed when the OctoZord merges with the Samurai Megazord, with the OctoZord's head and body forming a spear attached to the Megazord's right arm, its upper two tentacles attaching to the back like a pair of wings, and its lower three tentacles forming a shield that the Megazord holds in its left hand. Its attacks include Spear Thrust (where it makes the Octo Spear thrust forth fast enough to destroy Steeleto's Full Body Blades), Ice Breath (where it fires white mist from the part that was previously the OctoZord's lower body cold enough to freeze Nighlok monsters solid) and its finisher Electric Spear, Samurai Strike. Said finishing attack involves freezing a monster with the Ice Breath and then using the Mega Blades to energize the Octo Spear with golden lightning before unleashing a devastating slash through the Nighlock. It was used to finish off Steeleto and Antberry.
Appearances: S Episodes 14, 15; SS Episodes 15, 21
Additional Formations[]
Samurai Battle Cannon[]
Samurai Battle Cannon is the combination of the Samurai Battlewing, and OctoZord which acts as a cannon for the Claw Armor Megazord to use as a weapon. The tentacles of OctoZord form a stand to hold the Battlewing, whilst its head and body form the central barrel, attached to the TigerZord.
It attacks with the Battle Cannon Blast where it fires a massive barrage of energy which turns into all nine or ten Zords which make up the Claw Armor Megazord and Battle Cannon. A more powerful version, the Shogun Battle Cannon Blast, is used which is identical to the normal attack but is used when any Ranger is in Shogun Mode. It was used to destroy Arachnitor and Armadeevil.
Appearances: SS Episodes 1, 2, 9, 13, 14
