Number 49: As A Phantom Thief, As A Police Officer (快盗として、警察として Kaitō toshite, Keisatsu toshite) is the forty-ninth episode of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. It is the first part of the series' three-part finale, featuring the final appearances of X Emperor Slash and Victory Lupinkaiser (Blue and Yellow).
Synopsis[]
Kairi and the others have been forced to unmask themselves in front of the whole world to be the phantom thieves! The phantom thieves are forced to hide in a refuge Kogure quickly managed to secure for them. While there, they hear the story behind Dogranio Yaboon's chained golden safe... Meanwhile, Bistro Jurer has been completely emptied out, leaving no trace of the previous occupants. Keiichiro and the others are unable to muster any words after witnessing such an elaborate escape... Just then, Dogranio Yaboon decides to act like a true gangster, and no longer like his former boss persona! Furthermore, Zamigo tracks down his opponent Lupin Red to have a talk with him who he has shown to be fascinated with for a very long time...
Plot[]
The Lupinrangers' base is being inspected by Global Police while the Patrangers gather information about the report. Keiichiro says that he will stay back until his mind his cleared. Meanwhile, Kairi watches as he and the others are put on the news. Noel arrives, bringing food and Kogrue asks kindly if he could try as Global Police to keep Kairi and the rest from being hunted any further. Noel agrees but Kairi asks about Dogranio's safe and explains that he can use all the Collection pieces he has simultaneously.
