Number 27: Dancing Afterwards (言いなりダンシング Iinari Danshingu) is the twenty-seventh episode of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger.

Synopsis[]

Touma meets a mysterious martial artist at his dojo, Mr. Shouemon Oshi. Touma decides to stop by and look in his dojo as he is walking by just out of curiosity when he notices that Sakuya is in there too! Sakuya started training at this very dojo some three weeks ago in order to help improve his accuracy, but also his fighting skills as well…

Plot[]

The Lupinrangers are fighting a Ganglar and although they seem to be doing just fine, Touma admits that Pyodor isn't that bad of a fighter which is something the Ganglar himself agrees with taunting them by saying "You whippersnappers think you can actually hit me, Pyodor". His remark is then met with Kairi Yano saying he is a chicken but talks like a dirty old bird, the Lupinrangers then continue taking turns to fight Pyodor. The rangers are knocked down and this gives Pyodor the chance he needs to escape which he does until Touma attempts to follow him but the idea is foiled when Pyodor uses his treasure which is located in his safe, he then orders Touma to let him leave to which Touma complies and watches in surprise as the Ganglar leaves the area.

Touma, now carrying a bag presumably full of ingredients to use at the Jurer spots an old man beg a confused local to join his martial arts class claiming that he would become a fine martial artist, the local however is not as enthusiastic as the teacher and asks if the old man can let go of him. Touma having seen enough approaches both the local and the teacher and tells the teacher how the chosen person has already said no, finally leaving the other person alone, the teacher turns his attention to Touma and after hearing he is "Just a chef passing by" proceeds to place his hand to his chin and claim that Touma should join his dojo instead to which he does not hesitate to accept. Touma then finds himself inside the dojo and wonders how he got there and is also confused as to how he is wearing the uniform as he does not recall changing into it, he along with the other students are then greeted by their sensei who then states he is the founder of the Empty Headed martial arts dojo and that his name is Oshi Shoemon he then states that the training is difficult and that the fees are just as expensive so the class better be ready, he then introduces his assistant instructor to the class who is revealed to be Sakuya himself which shocks Touma who is greeted by the more excited Sakuya who says it is great to have him at the dojo. Back at the Police station, Jim asks Keiichiro, Tsukasa and Noel if they knew of Sakuya's sudden interest in martial arts and tells them how he is also the assistant instructor there something that confuses Tsukasa and Noel but pleases Keiichiro to hear his teammate is being more productive rather than focus on his sharp shooting skills, Tsukasa is concerned how little time it took for Sakuya to become assistant instructor but is reassured by Hilltop that since Sakuya is impressive then it is nothing to worry about and Noel sees it as interesting indicating he wants to what exactly is going on.

Back at the dojo, Sakuya tells the students that It's time for training and so they begin but rather than martial arts, they appear to be doing exercise as the song Koi Wa Moon Night Mystery is played as the class remove their uniforms to reveal they are wearing leotards beneath and continue what Touma points out is just aerobatics but is then is successfully convinced by Oshi that it is martial arts. Back at the Jurer, Touma is still confused as to why he would ever join something like that as he is more skilled in cooking, Umika admits that she finds it surprising that Touma out of all people would be the one to try out new things on the other hand, Kairi sees this as an opportunity for Touma to blow off some steam.

After the class is over, Touma is approached by Sakuya who asks if they should celebrate by going out for drinks, Touma declines the offer but then knowing he can get answers, takes up the offer and the two leave the dojo to grab a drink back at the Jurer. As they talk, Umika and Kairii who are still confused on the matter watch not that far from them hoping to understand the situation. Upon trying to ask his first question, Touma is quickly silenced by Sakuya who claims he should call him Sakuya-Senpai (Sakuya, Sir) as he is Touma's mentor at the dojo, Touma refuses to do so but is later encouraged to but is still just as hesitant, not satisfied with how quiet it was, Sakuya gets Touma to repeat himself louder which he does so which pleases Sakuya saying that it feels fantastic but confuses the still watching Umika and Kairi. The latter then points out that the two do not seem buddy buddy and that rather something else is going on. It is then revealed Sakuya has only been working at the dojo for three weeks which surprises Touma learning how little time the assistant instructor got promoted, Trying to be normal, Touma is overwhelmed by questions from Sakuya asking about girls and what kind of food Umika in interested in which greatly annoys Touma who then makes up his mind to resign from the dojo.

Upon wanting to resign, he suddenly changes his mind and proceeds to still attend the dojo as he was yet again convinced by Oshi to stay. Back at the Jurer, Noel admits that he even finds Touma's new behavior to be a little strange, Kairi and Umika agree with him and Umika mentions how Sakuya also attends the same dojo but rather than find his behavior also weird, Noel says that he just seems like his normal self. Kairi and Umika then just believe they're simply imagining things. During a private session with Sakuya, Touma asks which he listens to Oshi and Sakuya answers that he is just really convincing and Sakuya says they should get back to practice and both are then watched by Kairi, Noel and Umika unbeknownst to them who also find the dancing act amusing to them but Noel and Kairi both agree on how the martial arts was not the intention. Oshi receives a phone call who requests Sakuya do a job to which he happily agrees to comply. Touma is now left alone in the room and greeted by the laughter of his friends who discover what he was doing and the outfit he is wearing, completely embarrassed by this, Touma turns away. Now calm, Noel suggests they should not ignore Sakuya's behaviour as he is the same way which prompts Touma into agreeing to help.

Sakuya runs by holding the box his master gave to him when it is grappled out of his hands by Touma who is now wearing his thief attire, the box in question is then thrown towards the dojo which then explodes and Oshi runs out screaming how hot it is, he runs over to the forest where he finally turns into his Ganglar form revealing himself to be the Ganglar who the Lupinrangers fought prior to Touma being recruited. Now morphed, Keiichiro and Tsukasa rush over to fight Pyodor and Sakuya is ordered by Keiichiro to change into his Patranger suit to which he complies and does so. The three get into a fight with the Ganglar but are suddenly forced to turn aroud by the treasure. Despite being knocked down, the Patrangers get back up to fight and are watched by the Lupinrangers who agree to join in the fight and help out Touma takes the treasure and Pyodor is quickly defeated by the Lupinrangers, Gouche appears and uses her healing treasure to bring back Pyodor but in his giant state. Touma then instructs Good Striker to go to Sakuya as he too deserves to get payback for what he was forced to go through.

Once the Pat Kaiser has been formed, Sakuya uses the same dancing techniques from early to fight who he was forced to believe was his master. It confuses his teammates who thought Sakuya was doing martial arts but rather than stop him, they allow Sakuya to continue to dance but is quickly stopped by Pyodor who comments how the form is all wrong and slashes at the Pat Kaiser. Noel saves the Patrangers by using his X-Emperor Slash and just as fast he swaps to X-Emperor Gunner mode, a now furious Sakuya demands the Crane and Bike to which Keiichiro hands over and swaps to the Pat Kaiser Strong Biker and assisted by Noel, they destroy Pyodor with ease. Keiichiro and Tsukasa assure Sakuya that he did well which cheers him up. Touma watches as the mechs deform and is thankful for Sakuya getting the payback he deserves even ending his sentence calling him "Senpai" (Sir) one final time. Kairi and Umika walk over teasing their friend how well he worked with Sakuya and how his form was great, hearing this, Touma turns around to discover the two are dancing which yet again causes Touma to be embarrassed, he shoves the two back telling them to forgot about what happened but has no such luck as they instead continue with the dance.
