Number 23: Status Gold (ステイタス・ゴールド Suteitasu Gōrudo) is the twenty-third episode of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. It features the first appearance of Raimon Gaorufang.

Synopsis

In the Gangler’s dimension, a golden safe Gangler is seen sitting on the boss’ chair without permission, Raimon Gaorufang! Along with his subordinates, Ushibaroque and Giwi, he likes making sure he gets his own way. Destra, meanwhile, is furious upon their sudden arrival. The instructor of a cooking school seems to be missing recently. There is some suspicion that it might be the influence of a Gangler, so the Global Police conduct an investigation to no avail. Noel anticipates a problem by having Keiichiro disguised as a teacher, and asks cooperation from another well-known chef to be a professor…

Notes

  • As part of Super Hero Time, this episode aired alongside Kamen Rider BuildIcon-crosswiki episode 44, The End of EvoltoIcon-crosswiki.
  • This is the first time three standard Gangler Monsters appear at the same time.
  • This is also the first time both Lupinrangers and Lupin X transform and do the roll call together.
    • Noel uses a standerd role call, just like the others.
  • The Patrangers are only mentioned by Noel in this episode.
    • However, Noel does become Patren X in this episode.
    • He also says they are bad cooks and that is why he wants to work with the Lupinrangers.
  • This episode reveals that using a Dial Fighter conventionally cannot open a Status Gold Gangler's safe.
  • This episode shows that Noel can repair (and possibly create) Collection pieces after Tooma's Blue Dial Fighter broke, after mentioning to each that he did create them in previous episodes.
  • In the opening scene, Kairi is reading a magazine called "Movie News". By coincidence, the Lupinrangers would be starring in a premiering feature film three weeks later.
