This article is about a/an villain in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger.
""Eagle and snake...lion...and with the power of the tiger persisting...Call me the Youkai warrior, Nue.""
―Nue introducing himself to Junior.[src]
""Oh, invincible God of Youkai!""
―Nue's final words before his death.[src]

Nue is the messenger of Daimaou, his very arrival marked and signaled Daimaou's return. The source of his power comes from the tattoo on his left shoulder. He is a cruel Youkai who would even kill the Dorodoros, having no tolerance for their goofy nature.

Character History

Nue also saw Junior unfit to resurrect Daimaou. Taking over the Noble's fight with Saizou and Seikai, Nue uses his feather shurikens to turn the two into Kappas to halt their Shinobi Scroll search. The stunt forced a maddened Seikai and Saizou to almost kill each other, but the two overcame their plight in time to force Nue to change them back. Though Nue easily overpowered them, Saizou and Seikai refused to give up and managed to defeat the Youkai.

An enraged Nue was about to kill them when Muteki Shogun appeared, battling the enlarged Nue who used his serpent to defeat the God General single-handedly. Though outmatched by Nue again, Seikai and Saizou obtained their Scrolls and battled Nue in the God Kimard and God Logan, which left Nue buried in the confrontation.

However, Nue survived and sent his assassin, Gali, to handle Jiraiya for him. Once Gali died, Nue resurfaced and enlarged again. Jiraiya refused to give up to the large Youkai and obtained the final Shinobi Scroll and used the Super Stealth Beast God Gammer to wound Nue. Once the rest of the Kakurangers arrived, the Super Stealth Beast God Saruder, Holy Stealth Beast Tsubasamaru, Super Stealth Beasts God Kumard, God Logan, and God Kark attack in full force, killing Nue with God Kark's flying beam finishing him off.

Though unseen, Nue's spirit presumably emerged within the Seal Door along with all the other defeated Youkai, after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Youkai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. Final Ep.: Sealing!!
