Design

• Notch Tooth Monster was designed by character designer Muneo Kubo.
• "Aiming in the direction of Mr. Narita (designer of Ultraman, UltraSeven, etc.), I tried to create an orthodox image of an alien without a specific motif, a monster like the one in UltraSeven. But I also wanted to make the character stand out in the Toei style, so I added jagged edges to the sides of the face.” (Kubo)
