Noboru Kaneko (金子 昇, Kaneko Noboru) is Japanese actor who played Kakeru Shishi/GaoRed in Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger.

Personal Life

Kaneko had auditioned for Kamen Rider Kuuga and Kamen Rider Agito but did not get cast. His audition for Agito was passed onto a casting director for Gaoranger without his knowledge, and Kaneko showed up at his audition dressed shabbily as he assumed he was only cast in a minor role. After Gaoranger, Kaneko had been offered several other Tokusatsu roles but declined to remain faithful to his Gaoranger character.

• When Yuichi Nakamura was preparing for his role as Gaia Todoroki in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, he contacted Kaneko over his role and the latter expresses his approval for it.
