Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger Degozaru! Shushuuto 20th Anniversary (忍風戦隊ハリケンジャーでござる！ シュシュッと20th Anniversary Ninpū Sentai Harikenjā Degozaru! Shushutto Tsuentiethu Anivu~āsarī) is a Japanese superhero V-Cinema film that serves to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger.
Synopsis
It is the Edo Period. Younosuke, Nami, and Kotaro of the Hayate School and Ikkaku and Ikki of the Ikazuchi School are confronted by Oiranda and Aunja of the "Seven Spears of Darkness" and then Teruhime, whom the two Ikazuchi School members guard, is attacked. They were after the "Tenshoishi" ("Ascension Stone"), a stone said to be capable of destroying the world, which was in Teruhime's possession. Just when all seemed to be lost, the Hurricangers and the Gouraigers suddenly appear, having traveled back in time from the future, and a fierce battle ensues.
Plot
In Kyowa Year 3 (1803), Hayate School ninjas Younosuke and Kotaro recover the Golden Stamp from a castle. After leaving the castle, suddenly they find that their ally Nami was taken hostage in her duty as lookout by their rivals from the Ikazuchi School, Ikkaku and Ikki. Ikkaku demand Younosuke and Kotaro to surrender the Golden Stamp in exchange for Nami's life, which they do reluctantly.
20 years later, Mugensai describes to Sonoshin Nagao how that incident destroyed the Hayate School's morale, and how his students have been stuck with low level jobs since then. He asks Sonoshin to give them one more chance, telling him that they can rely on his students. Since then, Kotaro is raising a child, Nami has become an enka singer and Younosuke has become a guard at a teahouse. In their investigation, the trio discover Oiranda and Aunja attacking the Palace guards, in search of the Sky Stone. When one of the guards informs them that said stone is in the hands of Teruhime, the Hayate students discover that she is the Shogun's daughter, and is currently attending a performance of "The Lover's Suicide at Sonezaki", with her bodyguards, who Younosuke expects to be their Ikazuchi rivals.
At the Kabuki theater, as the performance is ongoing, Teruhime dismisses Ikkaku and Ikki, who are soon met by Younosuke, Nami and Kotaro. Younosuke then notices that the Sky Stone was in Teruhime's hair. Suddenly Oiranda and Aunja appear on stage and murder the actors, before introducing themselves as the Jakanja Ura Seven Spears. Oiranda finds the stone in Teruhime's hatpin, prompting her guards to help her escape, but to no avail, as Aunja overpowers them. Before Oiranda can take the Sky Stone from Teruhime, the girl moves to swallow it, to which the villains decide to vivisect her. But as Aunja is about to stab Teruhime, suddenly she is lifted to safety by the Gouraigers, who are quickly joined by the Hurricanegers. Aunja summons Magerappas to attack them, but they are defeated. The Ninjas try to finish off both Oiranda and Aunja with the Victory Gadget, but the blast is blocked and reflected back at them, as Oiranda shows off the Blast Stone. They beat them off with Kage no Mai before vanishing with the others.
In a secluded location, it soon transpires that the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers are descendants of the Hayate and Ikazuchi ninjas. Setting up a communication with Oboro and her assistant Moeru Kirarasaka, the Edo ninjas learn that Aunja and Oiranda are the last two members of Jakanja's Reverse Seven Spears, who intend to gather four stones of great power (The Time Stone, the Blast Stone, the Warp Stone and the Sky Stone) to grant a wish. Since the Sky Stone no longer exists in the future, the pair have travelled back to collect it in 1823 and grant Oiranda's wish, which Nami extrapolates from earlier comments to be a "lover's suicide". Upon learning that Teruhime has swallowed the Sky Stone, the Hurricanegers urge her to poop it out, to which she walks away disgusted, unfortunately allowing her to be captured. The modern day ninjas are forced to return to the present due to a flaw in their time travel system, with the quintet telling their ancestors that they need to work together to win, before vanishing.
In the village, Oiranda and Aunja appears and send the villagers fleeing for their lives, with Teruhime as their hostage. As Aunja takes Teruhime to meet Oiranda, she removes the Sky Stone from Teruhime using the Warp Stone, causing her to pass out. After Teruhime wakes up, she sees Oiranda conducting the ritual to channel the power of the stones for her wish, before Younosuke, Nami, Kotaro, Ikkaku and Ikki arrives. Ikkaku and Ikki evacuate Teruhime, while Younosuke, Nami and Kotaro go into battle against the Spears. Meanwhile, the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers return to the Hayate Dojo, with Oboro informing them that they can't send them back again, but Moeru decides to send something non-sentient back.
As Aunja overwhelms Younosuke, Nami and Kotaro, Oiranda tells them about Tau Zant, whom she says saved her, and how they fell in love. After learning that Tau Zant had been killed, Oiranda decided to take revenge by destroying the planet using the Stones. Oiranda then orders Aunja to get rid of them, but he gets shot by Ikkaku and Ikki, who were sent to help by Teruhime. Teruhime returns to the palace, telling Mugensai that the Hayate and Ikazuchi Ninjas went into battle against Jakanja.
Younosuke stops the ritual by stealing the Sky Stone. Angered, Oiranda orders Magerappas to attack the Ninjas, who are defeated by the Hayate and Ikazuchi ninjas while playing keep-away with the stone. Younosuke attempts to flee, but Aunja reclaims the stone and overwhelms him. As Oiranda is about to finish her ritual to make her wish, suddenly Younosuke gains a Hurricane Gyro from the future. Younosuke then transforms into Oedo HurricaneRed, then he goes into battle against Magerappas. After easily defeating them in one slash with Chou Ninpou: Oedo Gale Slash, Oedo HurricaneRed then goes into battle against Aunja. With his new power, Oedo HurricaneRed eventually kills Aunja with Chou Ninpou: Oedo Hurricane. Aunja finally explodes, with the Sky Stone destroyed. Enraged after Aunja's death and the destruction of the stone denying her wish, Oiranda then transforms into a giant spider, as she decided to destroy the planet and commit her lover's suicide personally. Oedo HurricaneRed then goes into battle Oiranda alone and eventually stabs the giant spider, reverting Oiranda back to her original form, before finishing her off with Gale Thunder Sky Super Ninja Blade, eventually ending her madness once and for all. As Oiranda dies, she yells Tau Zant's name before finally being blown apart and the three remaining stones are scattered far away once more.
In the future, Moeru and Oboro register that the Hurricane Gyro they sent back has returned to their time, while the Sky Stone is gone and Oiranda has been defeated. Oboro, along with the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers celebrate their ancestors' victory over Oiranda. Meanwhile back in the Edo period, Teruhime and Sonoshin congratulate the heroes, with Sonoshin telling them that Hayate School and Ikazuchi School can finally cooperate, as Mugenzai says that what they did wasn't a mistake and he looks forward to their next mission. Younosuke together with Nami, Kotaro, Ikakku and Ikki finally rejoices his victory over Oiranda and Aunja, with the two schools finally cooperating together.
