Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger is a video game based off the Super Sentai series of the same name. It was released for the PlayStation. There is a hidden code which when entered, allows you to play with the GaoKing. You can choose any of the 3 Hurricangers, 2 Gouraigers, and Shurikenger on each level.
The game starts out fighting bunch of Genin Magerappas or Jakanja villains such as Frabeejo, Wendine, Sargain, and Manmaruba. (except in the 3rd level, player must defeat the 2 Gouraigers before they become allies.) After defeating the enemies, the player has to defeat the bosses in each level. Once the boss on the ground is beaten, Wendine sends a giant copy to attack them. The, the Hurricangers, Gouraigers and Shurikenger use Shinobi Machines to transform into Senpuujin, Gouraijin, and Tenkuujin to defeat the boss.
There are 6 levels in this game and bosses are included in each level. The player must defeat the bosses on each level, such as:
- 1st Level: Jishakkumo
- 2nd Level: Shiransu, Wendine and Frabeejo
- 3rd Level: Gamajakushi, KabutoRaiger and KuwagaRaiger
- The player characters will be changed to Gouraigers if the player defeats them during 2nd part of level.
- 4th Level: Chuuzubo
- 5th Level: Kira-Cologne
- The Player 1 character will be changed into Shurikenger if the minigame of 1st part is successful.
- 6th Level: , Manmaruba, Sargain, Satarakura and Copy Ninja Hengenmaru (Game-exclusive villain)
- Hidden Level: Gyuki (Game-exclusive villain)
- The Player 1 character will be played as GaoRed during this level.
Errors[]
- For an unknown reason, Perfume Ninja Kira-Cologne was grown with the help of the Copy Giant despite the fact that Kira-Cologne is a Masked Ninja Corps member and not a Puppet Ninja Corps member.
Notes[]
- This is the only time where Tenkuujin uses Kabuto Spear in any media.
- GaoIcarus have the game-exclusive special move that shoots fireballs from GaoFalcon's mouth.
