Netflix, Inc. is an American subscription-based streaming service, content platform, production company, and online home media rental service founded in 1997 and headquartered in Los Gatos, California.

In 2011, Saban Brands signed a contract with Netflix to bring the Power Rangers series to the platform, which later expired in February of 2021 upon the selling of Power Rangers and other IPs to Hasbro. Currently, seven (and a half) seasons of Power Rangers are available to stream on the platform - all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, both seasons of Power Rangers (Super) Ninja Steel, both seasons of Power Rangers Beast Morphers, and the first half of the first season of Power Rangers Dino Fury. They will remain on the platform as Hasbro negotiates a new contract with Netflix.

In late April 2021, actor Chance Perez (who portrays Javi Garcia in Power Rangers Dino Fury) stated in an interview that the second season of Dino Fury would become a Netflix original series upon the expiration of the series' contract with Nickelodeon at the end of the year, which Hasbro chose not to renew; thus marked the transition of the Power Rangers main series to streaming-exclusivity.[1]

Netflix Era Ranger Series

  • Other sister series' of Power Rangers created by Saban such as Big Bad Beetleborgs and VR Troopers were also available to stream as part of the contract.
  • Exclusively in Japan, many Super Sentai films are available to stream on the service.
