King Neptune is Marina's father and owned a magic trident in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, he's also God of the Sea and ruler of Atlantis in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
History[]
Lightspeed Rescue[]
Like his daughter who is a mermaid, he is a merman. His daughter fell in love with the Blue Ranger Chad when she sought for help.
The Demon known as Aquafiend stole Neptune's Trident which can control the water. Using the Trident, the Demons wanted to let the water disappear from Mariner Bay.
At first, Neptune doesn't like the idea of Marina loving Chad and vice versa, because Chad is a human and Marina a mermaid. But later he realized that it is better that way.
Operation Overdrive[]
While Neptune himself does not physically appear, he is mentioned by Rose and Dax while the Operation Overdrive Rangers are observing Atlantis.
