This article is about an ally in Power Rangers Beast Morphers. |
- "Hello, Coral Harbor. This is Muriel Reeves. I've got something extroardinary for you today. Exclusive footage of the Power Rangers morphing. The Rangers' civilian identities are right here on this memory card. But, like me, you probably saw my daughter's interview with Nikki Rev. It made me realize something. If the Rangers were hounded like celebrities, they wouldn't be able to do their jobs, and that could put us all in danger. Revealing the Rangers' identities might be the biggest story of my career, but it's not the right thing to do. Their identities must be protected."

Muriel Reeves is the mother of Zoey and Mike Reeves as well as a reporter for Channel 10 of Coral Harbor in Power Rangers Beast Morphers.[1]
History[]
Outside of a tower, Muriel reveals that Mayor Daniels is hours away from flipping a switch that will send clean Morph-X energy coming from the Power Rangers’ Morphin Grid into many towers around Coral Harbor. When the three first subjects were about to morph to become a new Ranger team, a computer virus called Evox breaks into Grid Battleforce systems and attacks two of the subjects making them their avatars, after this, her daughter, Zoey steps in defending the remaining Ranger with the help of an intruder and is the one to become the new Yellow Ranger.
Days later, Muriel is seen again reporting to her viewers that Mayor Daniels is planning to cut through the forest by constructing a new road. Zoey arrives and rushes in front of a bulldozer to rescue a lizard, which startles the reporter, who reveals herself to be Zoey’s mother, and Mayor Daniels. After Zoey rescues the lizard, she makes a plea to protect the forest ecosystem to the Mayor.
Daniels tells her that traffic in Coral Harbor is a nightmare and that he doesn’t see any way around it. Zoey tells him that she sees an alternative, explaining as well that she isn’t afraid of big problems and that she solves them. After giving her plea, Zoey presents to the Mayor her X-Bike, which runs on clean and renewable Morph-X. While fascinated by her bike, Daniels doesn’t understand how it fixes the city’s traffic problem. Zoey tells him that they can place bikes all over the city for people to use and that the city would save a lot of money by funding her bikes. The Mayor tells Zoey that she has one week to get people to ride her bikes in order for the Mayor to cancel his plans for the road. Zoey agrees and her mom expresses her pleasure to Zoey that she has a story to cover and that she will be big money for Grid Battleforce. Muriel tells Zoey her belief that she could become a Power Ranger one day, but Zoey denies that call. Later that day, in the sky, Muriel notices the Power Rangers chasing after Blaze on the X-Bikes.
The next day at the forest, Zoey comes and asks her mom where Mayor Daniels is at so that she can show the Mayor her new bike designs. When Zoey’s mom tells her that the Mayor is running late, Devon tells her that his dad is stubborn and that he’s not going to change his mind just because she “coolified” the X-Bikes. Not wanting to give up, her mom shows how proud she is of her and hugs her.
When Mayor Daniels arrives on one of Zoey’s X-Bikes, the Mayor tells Zoey that a viral video showing the Power Rangers on the X-Bikes has caused everyone else to want an X-Bike as well. Pleased at what she sees, Mayor Daniels declares in the end that the road construction project is permanently cancelled and that the city is ordering 5,000 X-Bikes. After Mayor Daniels departs on his bike, Zoey thanks her mom for the viral video. Not wanting the credit, Zoey’s mom tells her that the Rangers are the ones that made her bikes look fantastic.
When movie star Nikki Rev comes to town, the Power Rangers’ secret identities are unexpectedly threatened when a camera accidentally films them morphing during a fight with Vargoyle. When Muriel notices the camera that filmed the Rangers she asks her camera man to repair the memory card so that she can use the footage and expose them to public thus making her a more recognizable reporter for her job. When she tells Zoey she becomes nervous and tries to stop her in several times but is unable to.
When Nikki Rev is finally able to do the interview, Zoey requests to be her the one that interviews Nikki to which they agree. When Zoey asks Nikki how does she feel now that she is famous and so recognizable she responds that doing certain things is now complicated for her making Muriel realize that exposing the Rangers may be her biggest chance of more success but is also not the right thing, so she breaks the memory card while in camera and thanks Zoey for helping her to do the right thing. Unexpectedly this action actually gives her even more recognition as a honest reporter.
Months later, At Grid Battleforce, Ravi is washing the paint off his hands after having had painted a mural when Devon calls, telling him to turn to Channel 10. It turns out his mural made the news as the wall was part of a building scheduled for demolition, and nobody, aside from Devon and Zoey, are aware that Ravi painted it.
Later, Muriel comes to Grid Battleforce while Coral Harbor is being evacuated due to Evox's takeover of the Morph-X Towers, and begs Commander Shaw to let Zoey come with her, convinced that she was still just a laundry girl. Only then does Zoey reveal her identity as the Yellow Ranger to her mother, and Muriel is surprised, but proud of her daughter.
