Mujina (ムジナ Mujina) is an artist-themed giant tanuki Yokai.
Character History
Around New Year's Eve, and Day, this Yokai created a manga that sent the Kakurangers, magically into another world, where they were the target of assassins. His human guise was a manga artist, and his Ninpo seemed to only work around the time of the New Year. He wielded a paint brush-themed magical staff that could create assassins, as well transform him into the various assassins. He could also use the brush to enter and exit the manga world. Saizou (Ninja Blue) managed to gain a hold of his brush staff and used it to bring himself, the other Kakurangers, Mujina, and the assassins into their world, where they defeated said assassins. Mujina enlarged himself afterwards and was destroyed by Samuraiman & Super Kakure Daishogun. 
TV STORY-Ep. 46: The New Spring Manga Hell
Mujina reappeared, along with all the other defeated Yokai, within the Seal Door after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Sealing!!

Behind the Scenes
- The costume worn by Mujina's Amazoness assassin is a reuse of that worn by TigerRanger, Boi, from Zyuranger.
- Mujina's name is a bit of a misnomer. The name traditionally refers to a badger yokai, while the character is in fact a tanuki (a raccoon dog). However, in some regions of Japan, "mujina" and "tanuki" are used interchangeably.
