Mitsuo Iwata (岩田 光央 Iwata Mitsuo) is a Japanese voice actor, well-known for having voiced Shotaro Kaneda in the film Akira, Mosco Versa-0 in Edens Zero, Dorodoron
in Futari wa Pretty Cure Splash Star and Orbot in Sonic the Hedgehog series.
In Super Sentai, he voices Sogizarai in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. A couple years later, he goes on to voice Bibaboo in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, Youkai Enraenra in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, the Deathgalien general Quval, being his first major role in the Super Sentai Series[1], Mashin Shovellow in Mashin Sentai Kiramager[2] and Money No.1 in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger.
He was once married to a voice actress Rikako Aikawa on June 13, 1992 but was later divorced on March 29, 2025.
