Mitsuko Goshikida (五色田 美都子, Goshikida Mitsuko) is the mother of Kaito Goshikida, the wife of Isao Goshikida and the daughter-in-law of Yatsude Goshikida.

History

Ten years ago, Mitsuko and her husband Isao proposed the existence of Parallel Worlds to the public, but they could not prove it. The couple researched about the Super Sentai teams across those worlds and invented Sentai Gears and five Transformation Gun Geartlingers, the tools to utilize the powers of 44 Sentai teams, which were then hid in an underground lab they secretly built under Candy Cafe Colorful. After many failed attempts, the Goshikidas successfully made Secchan, a mechanic bird pet for their son, Kaito.

Shortly after, the couple were kidnapped by the Tojitendo and were kept in stasis in a hidden location within their base. Izirude would access the vast knowledge on the Sentai Gears within their memories and use it to create the Tojiru Gears, along with a majority of the Tojitendo's arsenal.

After her blood was used to save Stacy, Mitsuko was later awoken from stasis by Stacy himself and escaped to a parallel world, though it was unknown which one. TV STORY-No. 26-kai! Remodeled Prince and Dark Surgeon! While the Tojitendo were on a rampaging manhunt for her, ravaging the other parallel worlds in the process, the Zenkaigers were able to trick them into thinking that they had found Mitsuko and brought her back to Earth by having Magine disguise herself as the professor, diverting the Tojitendo's attention away from wherever the real Mitsuko could be at the moment. TV STORY-No. 27-kai! A Great Voyage Through Seven Worlds!

While the Zenkaigers continue their fight against the Tojitendo, their search for her also continues as well, as they enlist the help of the World Pirates in travelling to the other worlds whenever they can. TV STORY-No. 37-kai! Grudge Radish, Deep Roots!

After the Tojitendo's defeat, Mitsuko was finally found by Isao and returned her back home. Not only that, it was revealed that she had escaped to Sushitopia and had been hiding on said parallel world before her husband had managed to find her thanks to the secret aid of a mysterious god that had been helping the Zenkaigers themselves in their final battle against the Tojitendo itself. TV STORY-No. 48-kai! Sky Full of Stars, The Dynasty Collapses!

• Mitsuko Goshikida is portrayed by Marie Kai (甲斐 まり恵, Kai Marie), who previously played as Chiyoko Shiraishi in Kamen Rider OOO.

Notes

• Her name, like all members of the Goshikida family, refers to a member of the Super Sentai production crew. The reference here is to Mitsuko Horie, one of the two singers of Susume! Gorenger, the opening song of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger.
