Miguel Diaz is the student of Johnny Lawrence and a main character in Cobra Kai, a television spin-off of the Karate Kid franchise.
He became the Red Eagle Ranger as part of a special exclusive collaboration between Hasbro and the Cobra Kai series for the Lightning Collection.
History[]
Miguel was born on November 22nd, 2002 in California to Carmen Diaz. After fleeing Ecuador, due Miguel's father Hector Salazar's criminal connections, Carmen took him and her mother Rosa where he was raised in Riverside growing up.
One day as Miguel is at the store he gets bullied by Kyler Park & his gang until Johnny Lawrence who's his neighbor at the same apartment complex comes in and saves him from Kyler & his gang. Afterwards Miguel asks Johnny to teach him some karate which Johnny at first said no until he changed his mind. Overtime going from the revived Cobra Kai Dojo as the 2018 All-Valley Champion, to dating Samantha LaRusso, to joining Johnny as he forms Eagle Fang Karate and merging with Daniel LaRusso's Miyagi-Do Karate.
