Power Rangers[1] is the Italian opening and ending theme of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers created when MMPR was aired for the first time in Italy during the children program BimBumBam on Canale 5 (owned by Mediaset group).
The lyrics were written by Alessandra Valeri Manera and the music by Carmelo Carucci (commonly called "Ninni") - authors of other original themes (called sigle in Italian) for the various cartoon and anime aired by Mediaset on its channels - and sung by the teenager singer Marco Destro.
The theme was used for the various show rerun of MMPR on various Mediaset channels during the '90s and for the first Italian broadcasting of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in 1999 on Italia 1 (another channel owned by Mediaset).

This theme was used in all the Italian dubbed MMPR episodes, even though the lyrics became irrelevant during the second season and on due to it mentioning the Dinozords.
In Italy, the series is simply known as Power Rangers, dropping the "Mighty Morphin" subtitle.
Marco Destro, who sang this theme, also did the themes for other tokusatsu shows such as Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, VR Troopers and Masked Rider, always written by Manera and Carucci.
