Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Official Fan Club Video

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Official Fan Club Video was a special distributed on a VHS included with the Power Rangers Fan Club kit in 1994.

The special went into detail on how Rita Repulsa and her crew were imprisoned by Zordon prior to the events of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers episode "Day of the Dumpster", as well as delving into the background of the Power Rangers.

Synopsis

Jason, Zack Kimberly, Billy, Trini, and Tommy inform the recipients of the VHS about the other material that comes in the fan club kit, as well as the tape containing interviews and behind the scenes info, plus that viewers will learn how to become a junior Power Ranger.

DVD Release

• The special was released as an extra feature on the DVD Set Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Series, and the Power Rangers Legacy Collection.

Errors

• Due to the Sentai Footage used, Scorpina is shown to be among Rita and the rest of the crew when they are captured, despite her absence when they are freed in "Day of the Dumpster".
• The footage of Rita being sealed in her dumpster features the wrong dumpster; it is clearly not the one that she was freed from in the first episode. That is because this is footage from the final episode of Zyuranger, of Bandora (Rita's Japanese equivalent) being resealed away. Presumably this footage would have been used in "Doomsday" if it were the final episode of the series produced.
