THE BIGGEST COMIC BOOK EVENT IN POWER RANGERS HISTORY! Lord Drakkon—a twisted alternate-reality version of Tommy Oliver (AKA the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger)—and his newly reformed army are crossing dimensions in order to execute an all-out attack that threatens the very existence of every Power Ranger ever. For the first time in comic book history, the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers will join forces with some of the most popular Power Rangers teams in the franchise from across time and space to face the ultimate threat...one that will mean the death of a Ranger!
Collected together for the first time this deluxe edition includes Go Go Power Rangers: Shattered Grid, following Lord Drakkon’s loyal Ranger Slayer—a brainwashed Kimberly Hart from an alternate future—as she travels back in time to defeat the Rangers at their most vulnerable. Before Tommy Oliver, before the Green Ranger, the Power Rangers must find a way to defeat Drakkon’s most fearsome soldier yet.
Join New York Times best-selling writers Kyle Higgins (Nightwing) and Ryan Parrott (Star Trek) and critically acclaimed artists Daniele Di Nicuolo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink), Dan Mora (Klaus) and Diego Galindo (Red Sonja) for the Power Rangers epic that redefined the comic book series. Exclusive Story: "A Promise to Keep"[]
Shortly after Drakkon uses his brainwashing spell on Kimberly, he orders her to return to Sawyer's Mill and get Trini to surrender. Kimberly meets with Bulk and tries to ask him where Trini is, but he realizes that something is wrong due to her holding the Bow of Darkness. Bulk tries to attack her, but is unsuccessful, only for Trini to show up and hold Kim at gunpoint to prevent her from killing Bulk.
Just as Trini orders everyone to get up and leave, Kim tells her that the place is surrounded by Ranger Sentries and if anyone leaves the building they will all die but she is willing to let everyone go if Trini surrenders herself. Trini is willing to as long as Kim keeps her word, but Bulk tries to attack Kim in order to stop Trini from sacrificing herself. Trini takes Bulk down and orders him to leave. Then, as Kimberly begins to insult her, Trini tries to get into Kim's head as she is not the one talking but the spell. This proves unsuccessful and Kim begins to threaten Trini, telling her that she will find and murder Ernie and torture Zack and Aisha for fun.
Kim and Trini begin to fight, with Trini taking Kim down just as Bulk returns to get Trini to safety. Trini shoots at gas barrels to explode the building and cover their tracks. Kimberly is saved by the Ranger Sentries stationed outside, and the story ends with Kimberly telling the Sentries they will hunt every Coinless down. And that she will need her Pink Power Coin again.
