I don’t want to be disrespectful and much less to an admin, but the way you’ve handled the page and anyone who tried to edit it seemed kinda trivial if not an abuse of your power. This is a wikia, not a dictionary, there’s probably a lot of pages with major typos, so I don’t see why you got to be so strict this one. And if you insist on being a dictionary, both the "First Word of the Sentence Capitalization" and "Capitalization of Title" triump over "Common Noun Lower Case".
I am sorry if I am disrespecting, I just don’t agree with what you have done.
Okay one, those aren’t the first words of a sentence. Two those aren’t official titles. Three, it’d have been abuse of power if I’d banned someone for repeatedly editing it back instead of me telling people instead and adding notes to the page. It’s not that there aren’t other errors on this site and we will get to them too, it’s just that these pages are the more visible sites as of the moment as they are current season pages. Those pages with major typos and need for editing will be taken care of once we get to them.
Rebuttal: Okay one, colons are used to expand on something introduced in the left part, which makes it the first word. Two, it may not be the official title, but is the title listed on the article nevertheless. Third, "You reverted an admin edit" does seem intimidating.
Again I am sorry, just couldn’t sleep knowing this.
Check out #12 for a hint. Basically, don't be telling off other editors - that's our job, not yours. That said it's good you added a source in your edit on Brody's page (even if the source's credibility is in dispute amongst admins at this time).
I'm not going to be tolerant of this. 2-week block issued for insertion of false information. Potential vandalism as well. Rangerwiki only posts facts, and passing off your opinion as factual is not something we're going to have here.
Yeah, that paragraph under Personality is word of God, came from Saban Brands social media. That edit is definitely vandalism and I cannot disagree with the decision to issue a temporary block. You should know better than this.
Um, actually, that was really somebody else's edit. I temporarily deleted the page trying to get rid of that bit, and it didn't work. Future Beetle's edit had just been right in between. Adjusting accordingly.
I restored one deleted edit just now. Deleted edits should only exist if a page has been deleted at some point and then recreated. Why would you ever need to delete an individual edit?
You don't. That's why things like this happen. Always revert and leave the history intact so blocks can be properly issued. Based on the page version, the block I issued was correct. If that deletion had not occurred, then the correct person could've been blocked.
